I have to say Southee that this does actually seem to be the case, especially when you consider that they also deferred the upgrading of the Morphett rd intersection just recently, leaving the only main projects out north, the closest the South ever got to anything upgraded was the Anzac Highway intersection and Tram bridge which is hardly a long way South of the city!
Its interesting to drive down Commercial rd to Seaford and to cross over the same old single lane wooden bridge that they had there in the 1950's, governments clearly do care about and prioritise work in the South - in Safe Labor Seats I might add!
