On this day 1967

On this day in 1967 Harold Holt disappeared while swimming. I remember this day clearly, despite being very young, as they took the cartoons off afternoon TV to cross to Portsea.
Anyone who has visited Portsea will know how treacherous the sea is down there and there seems little doubt he drowned. However some people believe otherwise...

I still think he was kidnapped by a North Korean submarine

Reminds me of some late night postings on the footy boards when a poster's team has lost.

Some of it looks bizarre and some plausible if you allow your imagination some liberty.
However, this bit, in the link to "Gary's CT Scans", suggests paranoid delusions, as it proposes technology with a selectivity that I think is still beyond us.
I had no prior knowledge of this surgical operation to my throat, when I was a Navy Clearance Diver, that left me unable to write, spell or converse with clarity for almost 30 years.
Yet, I could read and comprehend during this time and in recent years I have regained these lost abilities.
