For instance the Cadell Club has one paid employee, all others are volunteers and they do a great job and is a tribute to community spirit. Good old Jay said that he would consult with the local councils if there was an issue that could effect the areas.No consultation on this subject.If this is how they are going to govern our state then what community will be next.We are living in dangerous times.

Absolutely fantastic! I'm not going to get into the politics of it all, but i had a beer or three at the Cadell Club tonight and it was like a GF. The community here is amazing and every one of them deserves a pat on the back, not to mention the support from across the Riverland and the whole of SA. Thankyou SA footy posters!

Sad the government is getting pats on the back for this. All they've done is leave things as they were originally after putting people through a nightmare for a while. Guess if you can't have a policy just cut something, change your mind and it makes people feel like you did something!

It was amusing hearing the Minister on ABC radio (891) this morning trying to avoid admitting that the Premier had over-ruled him, and pretend that he hadn't been happy with the closure all along - especially when asked, next, why he then went ahead and announced instead of raising his concerns with the boss first...
