Always amuses how these plods get to be called the "Honorable Mr Spud"

I said to one of them one day "too bad you don't actually earn the title"

only if it means that the libs will be banned from the next two elections and their head man can be suspended for 12 months :D

I don't think they need any help ballsing things up.

4 terms in opposition, countless back stabbing events, countless leadership changes, talk of Downer re-emerging to help.....this lot is such a rabble even the leader can't see it.

Call him a rat if you like, but he's not going to drown with everyone who does go down* on that ship.

The Libs at all levels are just making things worse for themselves by unloading on MHS.

Loved to hear the Poodle being put back in his place on radio when he was reminded about Brown's revenge on Olsen after stating MHS was the biggest traitor in Liberal state history.

Ian Wilson still says hello.

Even on the way out in an article about what he'll miss about SA he couldn't stop whinging.

1. The lack of five-star accommodation outside of the CBD.

2. Sticky tables and flys inside a Normanville beach café/kiosk.

3. Traffic lights/bike lanes/speed limits designed by a mad man.

4. Stobie polls.

But at least he was able to play golf & tennis on weekends almost anytime he wanted. If Downer didn't exist you would have to invent him.

Yep it seems that way because it is.

If you recall 2 elections ago, in the last days before the election Vicki Chapman was asked if she would consider a challenge to Redmond. Days before the electionl, all the dumb bitch had to say is, we are behind our leader and united or some crap like that. But no genius didnt rule it out, media went bang and they lost ever so slightly. In my opinion they would have got up that election.

Amazing stuff, this election all they had to do was run a semi decent campaign, but their leader was such a dumb ass he managed to kill it himself. To say they are the Glenelg of politics is harsh on Glenelg, they are the Aldinga of politics.

hang on, Aldinga at least managed a win with their star recruit Crawf, whereas Liberals couldn't even win with their star recruit- - Downer.

Liberals ran an ok campaign, but they made the massive mistake of trying to beat Bob Such and Geoff Brock and not using those funds to compete in labor held seats

and amazingly the stupid fkwit Marshall the other morning on radio about the Hamilton-Smith debacle raised the amount of votes they got. Do the Liberals or Marshall not realise the rules we play under are rules they made up, and the fact is Labor managed to win more seats.

the way Marshall keeps carrying on about the election the more he will not be the leader at the next election

The Murdoch press are predictably trying to destroy MHS's character, regardless of whether you agree with what he's done it's a pathetic response really.

I actually hope that Pyne and Marshall try and attack MHS

I really would love to see MHS spill the beans on what has gone on behind closed doors and I don't think he is bluffing. But I laughed when Marshall just shrugged it off when that was put to him in an interview....

this could be just as good as House of Cards
