US

Labor, Liberal, Greens, Democrats? Here's the place to discuss.

Now by all means I agree with your general comments about keeping an open mind and actively seeking out the truth. I just find it unusual that 'Electric Infected' and other Youtubers (which tend coincidentally to suit your narrative) are taken as gospel, while the major TV networks and national newspapers and news sites are all Marxist propaganda.

Not my narrative there is hours upon hours of other alternate political analysis and commentary i might spend say a half hour to an hour a night to catch up with whats happening in the good ole USA and around the world.

No i do not take it as gospel any thing anymore i despise some of the MSM they are the ones that push agendas in fact i despise all.

If ya got Netflix watch a show called The Social Dilemma a real eye opener citizens of the world are being used brainwashed and pitted against each other by the Tech giants.

We are all being played my friend.

The Democrats don’t have any policies except they are not Trump
This is the exact reason Clinton lost. Her only “policy” was she DESERVED to be President because she was:
1. A Clinton
2. Female
3. Entitled to the job
She would have claimed to be part African AND Native American if she thought she could get away with it.

Lo, and behold.....

Biden’s only policy is he is not Trump

Great read Jimmy

One quote of many I picked up

"For Joe Biden, the challenge is how can he string sentences together? There's a real concern about his ability to articulate policy and his mental acuity.

From the many videos I have seen of Joe Biden the above statement is correct he is in the early stages of dementia or he is foxing with the media.

Personally I believe he should retire.

The Democrats have been a rabble since they lost the 2016 election.

They lack a charismatic leader.

When they appointed the worst performing delegate from the DNC conference as the VP shes not even a Afro American woman this alone would of upset a few.

Just imagine all the extra votes they would of picked up if the VP was Afro American.

Any way the citizens will decide on November 3rd

Once again you're all over the place.

You tell us that the Democrats have radical and loony policies - and then you agree with Jimmy's claim that they have no policies.

You can't be right on both counts.

FWIW, I think Jimmy's probably closer to the truth.

Not sure why race would be important for most people. At any rate, Harris would be regarded by many as African American.

Very important if you are Afro American every one loved Mr Obama.

Kamala is an Indian/Jamaican.

Have watched a few interviews where Afro Americans are not happy with the apppointment. and will be voting Trump.

Why does it matter the political analysts say that in 2016 Trump picked up around 8% of the black vote.

Some say now that some polls are predicting Trump will pick up to 26% of the black vote this time around.

Any way we will all know after November 3rd if the polls are correct.

Very interesting times in the good ole USA.

Kamala is not an Indian/Jamaican.

She was born in California. This makes her an American.

JEEEZZZZ MATE I know her history I know she was born in California her parents are Indian/Jamaican.

Some political commentators touted her as the first Afro/American VP

However most Afro/Americans disagree.

Other political commentators have stated and asked why Joe Biden and the Democrats did not appoint an Afro/American woman as his VP.

Some political commentators have stated that the Democrats might possibly lose some of the black vote because of this decision who knows ????

I am going by what I have read and seen on the WWW.

West Indian-Americans are generally regarded as African Americans, much like how Obama was regarded as an African American by African Americans, despite not being a descendant of slaves.

Harris' father was born in Jamaica but is obviously of African descent.

I would be highly surprised if Harris' ethnic background would influence many voters, and I've no idea why you'd bring race into the equation anyway.

At any rate, African Americans had no difficulty in electing Bill Clinton or Jimmy Carter, for instance, despite neither running with an African American.

I'm not sure what an 'Afro American' is - possibly you're referring to Disco Stu?

No, not really, Apache.

I suspect that any commentator that regarded an American of part-African descent as otherwise than an African American would be in a slim majority.

The assertion that African American voters will change their vote from Biden to Trump as Biden's running mate is of different ancestry to some African Americans is illogical for a number of reasons, particularly given that Trump's running mate is not an African American.

I think you're assuming that your personal reactionary instincts are also held by the American electorate, a big assumption.

It is overwhelmingly likely that any African Americans who vote for Trump will do so as they regard him as the better candidate, rather than anything to do with race.

I am not one to get political but I have watched bits of the presidential debate. I am truly baffled how people support this orange idiot.
Just one example, Trump said his administration has handled the Corona Virus (200k dead going up) better than how Obama/Biden handled the Swine flu (14k dead). What an idiot!

Is it just me or does moderator Chris Wallace look like the blue-hared lawyer out of The Simpsons?

I've only had a look at five minutes, and it was simply two dudes talking over one another (and mainly Trump, from what I saw). I really doubt the benefit of these types of events if there's not proper moderation and adherence to the rules. Wallace seemed as effective as a substitute teacher trying to rein in a problem kid with a full-on bout of Tourette's.

As someone on Twitter rightly said, 'so far the debate's main vibe is "argument breaks out over shuffleboard at the assisted living community."'
