Pretty poor form by Rudd.

Could've announced this anytime between the end of the election and parliament resuming, knows Day 1 will be taken up swearing ins and procedural matters then bang announces it on Day 2 so the new Lib government can all bang on tonight & tomorrow about that poor Mr Rudd being knifed, midnight knock on the door etc so tomorrow nights 6pm news will be full of it all.

A lot of people say that Gillard was our worst ever PM - I dont even think shes the worst Labour PM of the last 6 months, because Rudd IMO is probably the worst ever.

Nothing about him was ever genuine, he was just one big act, and the majority of the Australian population fell for it at one time or another.
