Thanks for the entries everybody, that is the competition locked for 2008. No more can be admitted.

I thought it would be interesting to have a couple of the experts' picks to see how they fair by the year's end:

"THE EXPERT'S PICKS"
Ashley Porter from Inside Football, picked:
1 North
2 Central
3 Norwood
4 West
5 Eagles

6 Sturt
7 Port
8 Glenelg
9 South

The Advertiser's prediction

1 North
2 Sturt
3 Central
4 Glenelg
5 Eagles

6 Port
7 West
8 Norwood
9 South

If anyone else knows of a prediction by an expert which was published before round one please post it here.
Cheers!

I'm assuming a pre-requisite to writing for Inside Football is that you have absolutely no idea about football. :?

Brenton Honor predicted the final ladder in the press last week, but you said you only wanted expert predictions.

but then, you still typed in Porter's hallucinations...

Oh well, I am happy to take well known idiot predictions as well, as long as they were published in some form before the Sturt vs Norwood game.

My Brains Order:

1. Central District
2. Sturt
3. North Adelaide
4. Woodville-West Torrens
5. Glenelg
6. Port Adelaide
7. South Adelaide
8. West Adelaide
9. Norwood

My Hearts Order:

1. Port Adelaide
2. South Adelaide
3. West Adelaide
4. Norwood
5. Glenelg
6. Woodville-West Torrens
7. North Adelaide
8. Sturt
9. Central District

Central District can have the spoon for once, they can finally feel what it feels like at that end of the table!

The reason for the top 5 is because of my love for Port and i thought by having the "easier teams" in the top 5 it would "hopefully" give Port the premiership!

Pages 222-225 of The 2008 SA Football Media Guide has ladder predictions from Phil Herden, Rob McLean, Jason Kendle, Peter Hall, Steve Barratt, Chris Kendall(even though you posted his from elsewhere), Peter Argent, Graham Fischer and Chris Miles. I don't have time to post them now but can later in the day, just say if you want me or someone else to do that.

EDIT:

Brenton Honor

Sturt
North
Eagles
Port

Glenelg
