Thanks for that Wedgie, it was a fun year for tipping, I tipped Sturt every game except for the first time we played North. Worked a treat for most of the year but the plan became unstuck in those last few matches.
I went for broke in the grand final, I figured that Mal would almost certainly back the Dogs, I then figured that everyone behind Mal would expect this and they would have to back North to have any chance, I then needed to make up a 35 point difference with Heater so I reckoned if he backed North between 1-5, I would need a 40 point upset or thereabouts to have any chance of coming out on top.
Congratulations to MAL for his dogged persistence and tipping prowess in carrying away the inaugural Safooty Tipping Trophy.
