Buns For Crowds Round 13

Maybe not as massive as Round 12, but at least three games that I'd want to see if I was in Australia.
Central vs Norwood: Tough task for the Legs, up against number two last week, now take on number one at Elizabeth. Perhaps were a bit flat against the Blues, now is a time to see what their character is made up of, and can they deliver a more impressive performance against the mighty Dogs on their home turf. Still within striking distance of a finish in the top three, need to put on a big show here to give their fans heart.
Port vs Eagles: These two are shaping up with South and the Bays for fifth or fourth on the ladder, and with the Legs showing so much promise recently the above mentioned sides may be all scrambling for the last remaining spot only. Four teams fighting over fifth, and two of the hottest candidates slugging it out on the Magpies home ground. Should be a cracker.
West vs North: Unfortunately it appears as though North will just turn up and spank the hapless Bloods into next week. North have all the reason in the world to put as much space between themselves and Norwood, and maintain pressure on the Blues in second, they cannot afford to drop another game to a side in the bottom four, as they did against the Bays a couple of weeks back. West possibly have the potential to catch North out, if the Roosters are unprepared. Westies definitely showed promise earlier this year, and have gone down narrowly to second placed Sturt in both hitouts this year. It would be great for the competition if the dormant ability which dwells deep within the heart of the Bloods should surface and shake the Roosters at Richmond, but I can't see it happening.
Sturt vs Glenelg: This should also be a huge game. Glenelg are probably having their best run of the year at the moment, and they haven't lost for a while. Mickan has possibly been preparing for this match for weeks, and would give a huge boost to the spirits of the Glenelg faithful if they got up and took the Blues down at the first game at Adelaide Oval for the year. Sturt have achieved some huge results this year, and should be too good for the Tigers, but will need to be on top of their game to hold off the same Tigers outfit which gave the powerful Roosters a pantsing at the Bay not long ago.
Game of the Round: Port vs Eagles should be the closest game. Sturt vs Glenelg should draw the biggest crowd.

Though it may be hot humid and sticky in this damn hemisphere at this time of year, the Hardys just don't give a damn!
THE BUN for round 13 goes to that maestro of statistics, Spell Check! His projected crowd analysis of 11,234 was just a tad over a hundred more than the actual 11,131 which the red coats claim entered sports arenas to attend games of SANFL this weekend. Well done Spell Check!
And THE BUN for the highest attended game, which ended up being Norwood vs Central at Elizabeth, where 3,423 turned up to see the Legs get smashed, diced and served with a slice of lemon by a hungry Bullgdogs outfit, goes to Therisingblues (that's me!), who tipped 3,401 for that same game. That's only 22 red eyed Legs supporters shy of the actual figure, and I reckon that's a pretty good effort! Well done me!
And THE BUN for he who braved the frosted front lawn to retrieve the Sunday Mail from whatever unforsaken place that the paper boy launched it into, and transferring the priceless crowd figures contained there-in for global consumption, once again goes for Thiele for his fine efforts going above and beyond the call of regular exertion. Well done Thiele!
