about 10-14 years ago the Barossa & Gawler footy league had a footy budget .... does anyone know bout this

bunyip is the gawler paper and each week at the grounds you get the barracker same as footy budget and record

And a decent read the Barracker - and the Bunyip - are. Grassroots footy suffers in Perth because there's a perception that they don't need to do some PR out in the community, so if you don't follow a league closely you have no idea.

Ah OK. Last I heard of Scrote he was up north in Cairns (I think). Funny bloke - made for some interesting ... if not at times scary football trips :)
