Barossa looking to bring the cup on return to their new home at Lyndoch!

Fenton, Casboult, Kajanto, Ryswyk, Goodfellow, Miles, Bates and Mumford in so far make for a very decent spine! Now just to get Heath Commane back at full forward and convince Dyson Sharp to play 3 games during the regular season :D

Geez Commane would be nearing 40!

Maybe a hint of sarcasm in that one ;) Lyndoch Oval is looking spectacular, who wouldn’t want to play country footy there

Now the Barossa Council just need to make sure to do the opposite of Mt Barker Council at the Summit sport park, an absolute tragedy for community footy in the Hills that it can’t be used for political/bureaucratic/financial reasons!

Fair difference in standard.....why play in the mini league in the SFL.....when you could play in a higher standard.....like GSFL, Hills or barossa
The SFL is a shocking standard.....except 2 or 3 clubs.....its real mini league standard

Mick McCarthy was a fantastic player and I would argue he could quite easily be number 1 on that list. I certainly got sick of looking at the back of his jumper as he ran off. Never played against Charlie, was well retired but have watched him a number of times, very talented. Probably should have gone further.

Looking at 2025, here's my predictions
1) Barossa-dug up a few players from the cemetery they are that old, but have heard they've got huge numbers and talent with Barossa Oval opening. Dew a big loss.
2) Willaston
3) Tanunda
4) Ango
5) Nuri- Have heard they have lost a few to the NEFL, but regained the Schillers so unsure how they will end up
6) Kapunda-Have picked up a few. Lots of local talent coming through in the next 2-7 years. Will be pushing for flags soon.
7) Souths
8) Central
9) Freeling

Have been told Freeling have had another mass exodus of locals. Primarily to the NEFL, not sure if there is any truth to this. They really couldn't organise a root in a brothel out there, sounds like they are their own worst enemy if it is true.

Geez, having a look at the RMFL "recruits" this year, and talk about mini league. Heaps of B grade and C grade signings, off to a league where the bottom 4 were so far off the pace from the top 5 it was laughable

Haven't heard anything but in fairness to Willaston if something has happened trial games shouldn't be a free space to get away with things. Especially if they have a bloke who will now miss games.

You would think there would either need to be footage or at least a couple of the umpires who are willing to testify to an incident.

With even ammo/country footy becoming more and more professional each year i can see this becoming more of a thing.
