was tagged ep star at the start of 2010, isnt that big enough for you in country football ?? you give me a big name in eefl then mate?

looks great on the training field but not a big impact player. Definitely silky skilled mind you. Big names? Greg Parkes, Leigh Fitz, Ash Masters, Paul Franklin etc etc.

Beaty shouldn't even be put in the same league as these guys!

Don't think he has a connection through Zac or Beaty. I reckon he is a sparky though and so is Zac. Zac is a tall forward but not known for gettin his knees very dirty. Lol.

I didn't see Chris Beatty's name in last weeks cricket results. Is he not playing cricket anymore either.

Reckon he was playing for North Whyalla mate. Great story here.
Apparently North played an unqualified player in their nail-biting win over Roopena in the prelim last week and have been disqualified.

if its so hard, how about you just pick the best team from the mortlock carnival .... the team cant seem to do any worse then current years.

and in kanes situation, he was the eefl mail medal winner, but couldnt get picked for ep, while other players in the league did, and you cant say its a position thing, because his played at ff, chb, c in the last 5 years.

Debatable whether Merv is the best player in the comp but definetly top 4 with Parkes, Woolford and Fiegert. I think his problem is he has not flashy enough. You know him Rama, he is a no fuss player who has a job to do and just gets the job done.

agree, however at the time he won his medal i dont think parkes or woolford were playing eefl, i could be wrong.

maybe ep need some players who get the job done, rather then looking good every now and then when they get a touch in the carnival ??

He would only have to be the third forward alongside Dylan & Pat.
