With most clubs returning to the track this week any more news on BIG In's and BIG Out's?

what will the inclusion of Iron bank do to the top 5... anyone seeing any teams sliding down the ladder from the previous year or any of the bottom teams improving this year???

Nairne look the firm favourites with sone very handy ins.

Bridgey will be around the mark but have lost some quality, will depend on if they get some good recruits whether they can challenge nairne.

Kersbrook always around the mark.

Ironbank will be around the mark but have lost a few.

Cant say i know much about birdwood, maccy or kangys. Obviosuly maccy and kangys need a fair few recruits to challenge for the top 5 but birdwood appear to be improving every year.

Gums should be much improved with some quality locals returning.

Meadows have got a local Ruckman returning from scotch but probably need a bit more to challenge the top sides.

So any news?
Have heard pretty much everyone in the top 3 from last year have at least lost a couple.
3 of the comps leading goal kickers, gone from what I've heard? Although this is only from the rumour mill.

Sounds as though ironbank have lost a few as well. Can anyone put any truth to these 'rumours'?

I don't think Ironbank have lost as many as some may think. Maybe a few but I believe they have been more than adequately replaced.

Have lost sean baker our reigning bnf, plus most of our recruits from last year bar jacky but they barely played anyway so their no real loss. Have recruited a couple of quality players which will covers the loss of baker. Its more the depth that may be an issue with a few fringe/solid b graders leaving.

Yeah heard that as well!
Have also heard that the Maccy boys are being put through their paces this preseason and will be much fitter than previous years. Still lacking some outside polish that'd help push the top sides.

Any more recruiting news around the comp?
Who are we predicting for the top 3?
Bridgey
Ironbank
Nairne?
Previous comment said the Rams should be favourites with how they have recruited, can anyone shed some light on the the top sides recruiting?

Not long now!!!!

Really? That is surprising, I thought they had formed a pretty tight bond with a few of the other Birdwood lads..

Where they headed?

Well lucky for South Gawler and ouch to Birdwood.. Probably lucky to all Birdwoods opponents too.. Just when Birdwood seemed to be getting stronger and more competitive with the other top sides in the league they go and lose two of the most important cogs! Hard to replace imo..

Goodluck to them..

Seems as though most of the top sides have lost a couple.
Hancock from the Rams
Connolly and Moore from the roosters
Heard quite a few have left bridgey after winning a flag, Hooper and the Mitchell brothers?
Haven't heard anything about the brookers what so ever

Ironbank are an unknown but would expect them to be a good outfit in div 2.
Hancock is no great loss he is probably the laziest forward in the comp.
Bridgey will still be real strong.
Kersbrook are always a bit of a wildcard who are always around the mark.
My money is with nairne this year.

Sounds about right double trouble.

All bridgeys home games to be played at callington this year also, which is probably a bit of a loss for them. They're pretty much unbeatable at Bridgewater!
I agree with the bankers. They'll be a top 3 side regardless, coming from central dub!
Hancock isn't a huge loss for Nairne, all the good sides seem to have him covered anyway, would be better off playing daveys as a hit up forward, watched him tear Birdwood a new one, on their big defenders last year.

Will be interesting to see how much gumeracha improve with the div 1 Mail medalist coming home!
Expect kangarilla to struggle a little. Were competitive at home last season but lack a bit of X factor.
