I agree Nairne should be in Div 1... piss off Blackwood.

Don't reckon Blackwood will go anywhere, had 5 x teams in 2nd semi today (and they all lost, 4 losses at the hands of Hahndorf) but Nairne would be competitive in div 1, but if you and you're supporters enjoy div 2 (and achieving success) what's the reason to leave? If Torrens valley are still around next year, reckon they will become the 10th team in the div 2 comp..

Fantastic to get the win yesterday. It's very exciting for the lads as it's been a real struggle for us for a long time and it's great to see this group of mainly local guys have some success.

Bad luck to bridgey, they just had a few to many injuries in the end which really hurt them. They had another terrific year though and they had a couple of really good young kids playing yesterday.

Nairne are probably more ready than any of the previous clubs to have gone up to div 1. Their juniors have been strong for a very long time, but I think they need to win an A grade flag before going up.
Being a long time supporter of hills football and watching both divisions, I think they'll be comeptitve, they'd push at least 5-6 sides. Obviously the top 3 teams are very good, Hahndorf in a league of their own. But I don't see them not winning a game and finishing bottom. They'd push for a finals spot. Just whether or not they want to go up or enjoy some success for a while.

Congratulations to Ironbank on making the Grand final, after a shaky start, clawed their way back. Good on them! Can't wait for Saturday. Should be a great game, only a couple goals between these two both times this year!

Nairne bremer by 40 points. Think the big ground and forecast for dry weather will suit them much better than ironbank who are used to their under 12s size oval. Surely with how long its been between drinks for the rams and having missed narrowly last year they will have enough hurt and hunger for their stars to really lift and get it done. Ladhams to kick 8 and get B.O.G.

I've heard a few people say the big ground and dry weather will suit Nairne. Personally I don't get that, Ironbank have lost 6 games this year 3 at ironbank and 2 at nairne which you would consider the two smallest ovals in the comp. When we have had a chance to run on the big decks we have been very hard to beat as it suits us as were a small quick team. Nairne are obviously a very quick team especially from defense but I'd say Ironbank are pretty similar in the pace stakes. The two games these two played previously were at Ironbank and Nairne obviously and the tighter confines appeared to suit Nairne more then ironbank. The midfield battle will be massive and whoever controls that battle will go a long way to winning the game. Also Ironbank must control the run off the back from Jaensch and Davey as they are very damaging players so there forward pressure must be up. Ladsy is obviously a key for Nairne and it is important he is neutralized. I'm biased so of course i'm tipping Ironbank by 2 goals with Daniel Desengo to get the medal for best on.

Would have been a long time since the Brookers didn't have a side in a GF?

I agree with batman there ;).
Ironbank definitely are not slow!
They are also very disciplined as a team. Might not have heaps of flash, but they are pretty tight knit.

But I think Nairne are the best side, and if they rock up to play they will beat anyone.
Nairne by 4 points. Moss for the medal.
