yeh has been training with Nth Clare has a couple of mate there, would be a good pickup for them a very quality onballer. But would need good support around him.

Talking to a mate from Mallala who knows nothing of Hollitt leaving. Josh works in Clare and Mallala have not started full pre-season yet so that may explain his training with Nth Clare.

Early talk at this point has suggested Ricky o'loughlin from Ports and Brenton Bascombe from Angaston will be donning the Green guernseys this year, both will be looking to pay their mortgage with what they will get from the rams.

Another pickup is SANFL premiership player Quentin Graham who looks set to join the tigers out at long plains, again set to bring his wheelbarrow to help carry his cash.

And Hamley will struggle to cover the loss of Craig "Diddles" Harvey who will join his former club once again.

Every year we hear that Hollit is playing in clare and every year he fronts up for the maggies, so i would expect the same this year

yeah, ricky played at north. did well against the weaker sides, but seemed to strugle vs the stronger sides like south and blyth. could have had something to do with north being quite weak. i think they made the finals that year but there was a massive gap between the top 3 and the field.

Would it be fair to say to say that Kapunda haven't stopped his movement and therefore don't consider him a required player?

Not that he wouldn't be handy, but he's not his brother!!!

O'Loughlin is chasing best offer in different league each year, NEFL 06, BLGFL 07, APFL 08, ?? 09.

I'm lead to believe Balak have lost our tempermental big man Benny Lamond to Freeling to play with his brother Stuart. Not confirmed but not suprised as you never quite know what he'll do or go next.

What about the big Whiskers? I have been told of links to Amateur clubs, wouldn't have thought he would go anywhere, but possibly if Battle's not coaching.

Would be very, very suprised if Whisky went anywhere. Has had big offers from other leagues before but always stays at home where he can spend all night in the local and still get b.o.g. which I doubt would be tolerated of a big dollar import at another club.

Balak will need the big mans presence more than ever with the departure of the bald one and the major injury to his brother Freddy leaving Whisky as the only 6 and a half footer at the club.

So that's the secret of his success!! :D

Last year they had plenty of big blokes, don't suppose Andrew Evans will play after having a pretty ordinary time with head injuries last year, but Johnno evans will be there as will Lachlan Parker no doubt, see still have more than most clubs in the big man stakes.

The Rumour Mill has circulated the fact that one C.Calyun, one C.Cockatoo-Collins and one P.Vandenburgh are no longer part of the longies crowd!

Most teams should have started some form of training by now, we should start to hear some Juicy gossip, surely.

any body heard if Grant Jaesche will be back at united next year. I know his brother craig is taking over the coaching job at his old club north clare in the NEFL. Grant was a key contributer in the united finals run. i saw he got b.o.g in the win vs hummox in the prelim, and would be a loss for united especially when coupled with the losses of chris, che and vandenberg.

Yep, Jetski is heading back to Clare to play with his brother. Very handy player and I'm sure he'll be missed in the midfield.

Relax Bloods,

All opinions are welcome on this forum, lets not start the year off badly.

If your mates with Ricky O you would be aware of the bloke he is and wouldn't worry about what people here say.
