David Bickley to go again I heared with his out of work brother to help him out??

Ganley has been announced for Ports next year already but could ther be 5 new coaches in SGL next year - is the word going round.
Who are the possible candidates in each club? Lets play "guess the coach"

Ports- Ganley
Centrals- Hayes
South- Everitt
West-Blinman/Zubrinich ( b grade premiership coach may step up)
Lions Butch Smith
Solles- Booga Bickley My thoughts only

Have just heard Hayes not at Centrals next year.
Poses the question West or South???

You apply to join, you wait to be set up and then come in with this as your first post. You tool!
If you can get 1 player in the SGL that says #29 John Murphy is soft or would take a dive and I will help pay for the care you clearly need. You will not find one. Change your name to letsbeamoron instead!

have spent a few weeks laughing my head off at all the blogging on here. Oh thats who it was. Didnt call him soft just thought the dive and the death roll he did looked hilarious. Not here to upset you chump just saying it like it was so dont get too upset. Was you the other bloke on the deck in the forward pocket was you? Oh murphy works at channel 4 too doesnt he? that explains it all thanks for your help.

That explains what? Wilson doesnt like channel 4? You're still saying he took a dive, rubbish, and if you know where murph works you know he is #29. You just didnt have the balls to write it which says more about you than anything.

I think Robbie Dennis played on a wing in that gf. He certainly did through the season as I recall

You saw a bump did you? Interested to hear what everyone saw! He took two games for a bump? Try being honest if you're going to call yourself that!

Congrats to Duck on his efforts and the way he always held himself with a cool head and he has bowed out with grace. I wish him well.
Butchy no doubt will have a crack and may be auditioning with his efforts in the reserves at present. Not sure Ash Dunkleys shift work will fit with senior coach- would be a great candidate though, knows his footy and coached most of the lads playing to success.
Sollies are advertising for a coach and no doubt Bob will want to go again, but has been notable by his absence at the Semi/maddigan with the cats brethren. Apparently TP is off shift work to straight days so not sure if anything can be read into that?! What if the Colts coach Sawyer goes all the way? I think they will, good luck.
There is talk that Depalma may be coming back to town? Also talk that Mellow may look at Broughton? Could they be in the mix? I suppose most clubs wont announce anything till their season finished.
Any word on if Blinman is going again with the Hawks?
There is talk of a succession plan at the Bloods
at some point, a win today will surely square off Southies coaching role again and if Ports kept the coach last year after 1 win, the spot would be a safer bet than then!

That is all assuming they want to go again!! Who knows.

Todays game will be a cracker in Port Augusta- cant get there but keen for a wrap up.

Now with Hayes not going again, is this still on and if so is it Dickson.

The last one that Sollies won when they beat Noogs Rozee's Quorn-Wilsden in 1995 I reckon

1995 would be correct. Should read more like this after the score of a behind Bickley kicks into Price, Price handballs to S Peek, Peek Kicks to Siviour at Half forward. Siviour hand passes to Timmsy who the stabs a short pass to Matt Darcy and Goal. Great year for the Cats 1995 plenty of other players could have been mentioned but these boys stand out in my mind.

Yeah I agree. Sounds like we were both there! I also did the blast of a party back at the club that night and followed up with pub crawl around Pirie on the Monday. Chris Siviour picked up the Madigan that year too I reckon. Freddy Freer was the youngest player at 17 in the gf too. Well, he might have been 18 - its a long time back!

Siviour was unreal.Who would have thought the Cats would have 8 medallists in the 17 years from '95 to now. Pitty '95 was the only flag though.

I am honest gtg dont worry about that. i seen the bump on the news and thats all i saw, i also seen the port bloke on the deck in the pocket after getting decked by all accounts by willson as well thats what i was told willson got the two games for. I dont think what he did was right but he has a premiership medal and im sure there would have been a punch or two thrown by the port blokes but we didnt get to see that on the news. i wonder why?

Wrong - Wilson was reported for striking Murphy, pleaded guilty & got two games, even Wilson acknowledged that, not a bump ('fairy' hard or otherwise bnt) - buy a bigger tv. Both Luteria & Wilson were given suspended sentences for attempted striking as per the other incident (both landed plenty but anyway). Im with cominghome and not even interested in commenting about Wilson, why would you, but to say Murphy took a dive is what I will pull you up on, plus its a bit rich coming from a lion  .

You know I think you are right. I reckon Roy Cassetti might have been the big bloke we are thinking of. He kicked three goals - as did Johnny Caputo - in that gf.Siviour booted five goals and Porky George was BOG. Just dragged out the newspaper report from my collection

Not really worth commenting on a bloke who is reporting on what he "seen" rather than what he 'saw'. Wilson is a sniper, let's hope we have seen the last of him. The game doesn't need his kind any more.
