Does anyone have any reports on the trial games that occurred over the weekend? Did Riverton get up over Freeling? I hear Bevis went well against Hummocks at his new club...

Blyth/Snowtown had an excellent hitout against Two Wells on Friday night watched by a good crowd. Played over 6 quarters (half A grade, half B grade). B grade struggled a bit with a young team. A grade was close for 2 quarters but B/S dominated in the last quarter and won by about 6-7 goals. No injuries and supporters were happy with what they saw.

Does the league have a Budget available at matches each week during the home and away season?

My tips for this weekend:
BSR to beat Blyth/Snowtown by 7 points
RSMU to beat Min/Man by 14 points
North to beat South by 43 points
BBH to beat Edunda by 83 points

ladder after round 1:
BBH
North
RSMU
BSR
Blyth/Snowtown
Min/Man
South
Edunda

B grade will be interesting. You never can tell how they will go in the opening game.

Wet weather won't make any difference at Snowtown. The rain will soak straight in like a sponge. It will soften it up though and that will be greatly appreciated by everyone. I think the Cats should win well.

In the other games:
Min/Man to just get over RSMU in a slog
South always grow an extra leg when its wet and should beat North.
BBH to win easily at Burrrrrrrrrrrrrrra. They'll be drinking port at half time to keep warm

this week i think in the dry the real form will be shown from the top teams
BS to beat north by 5ish goals
south to just get over eudunda by a couple
min man to spank BSR
RSMU BBH draw or close to it

B/S over North... IMHO quite easily too
South to be too good for eudunda
Min Man... enough said
I wanna back my hawkie birds in here but it will be a tough hit out and if they aren't prepared to play BBH will walk away with it!!!!!

Same tips for the B's with the exception of Eudunda over south

I would also be interested to hear a run down of that game Angry Bull... It could be a great game this weekend between BBH and North Clare in light of the results on the weekend... I don't think too many people would have though North Clare could have knocked off a full strength Blyth Snowtown squad...

The Cats were very strong all day. RSMU are very lucky that That Cats didnt have their kicking boots on or it could have been embarrassing for the Hawks. 1 goal 10 in the third quarter could have easially been an 7 or 8 goal quarter. Looking foward to the goal kicking at training this week.

hawk boys whats doing? 0-3 not a good start for the reigning runners up did hear that you got out played all game and were lucky to loose by such a small margin, as for BBH are they the new team to beat? or have they just not beaten any real opposition yet? i think its a bit more of the former rather than the later. as for south... piss poor effort by a once powerhouse of the competition have had a run down on how good BSR are and i was a bit shocked when i heard them described as the worst A grade team a mate has played against, even more shocked when they gave the dees a bit of a touch up, as for the cats well wal will they be up there again? my prediction for them to take out the flag may have taken a bit of hicup last week but back on track now? Min Man are on a roll who will be the first to stop them? my guess BBH.
