Don't know about being the best judge WCP, but thanks anyway! pay you later!
Stiffy is a quality, quality bowler. Up there with the best on EP in the last 20 years. I have faced plenty of blokes in different leagues and he is up there. If he does have one let down is that he is too nice, hate to see him get angry and try and hurt someone with the pill.

Maverick, Got no idea who you are, BUT have you faced Stiffy. If you have and handled him fine than its your opinion and no probs.. Otherwise grab bat and let Stiffy have an over at you down breeze at Wangary with a new cherry..

If RR= Minya, pull your head in you smart little prick...

Just busy at work eppie, you can try all you like nobody is close to my identity yet and no im not an imposter. Im just sick of a couple of certain PLFL clubs and their selfish attitude towards the new complex. Its pure jealously!

So RR, both Eppie & myself know you well then? As you are apparently a bona fides Tasman in the footy season.

I reckon Im ready for pre-season about as much as you Eppie.. Might have a couple runs and see if the body and motivation is there before I committ.

UQ, I don't know the full makeup of the EP side.. Im not going this year and Craig Penna & Wooly have picked the sides. I got asked about a few but and know most but a few from up bush I don't know.
Ones I know are, fridgey & wayne moroney from Le Hunte, Carlos Jaeschke and Dope Ramsey from EE, Larwood from Kimba, the 4 Lincoln lads Sammy, Ben Smith, Gourlay & Struddy plus I think Funky Miller might be playing. I think there is only 5 who went last year..

AGrub and wcp have been very quiet lately.
Was that fatty in the times or bugs bunny? See fatty or rossco must have done the write-up mentioning themselves.
Scoob the body looks in fine nick, can i get your diet tips, you will be able to play on the ball all day!!
mav read Agrubs tips in the paper your sure to be a 'looser'. Back everything he doesnt mention.
Jelous of what rr, a hockey viewing complex with no roof? and no windows facing the footy oval. WTF? Like the Mayor called it "Pluricy Park"
Stiffy is nothing on Justin Heyne, Hutchy or Forbesy.

RM, no comeback to the fitness thing!! Got me there... Im about as fit as the GM at the moment and couldn't run out of sight on a dark nite, but hey WTF its all good fun.. Get a couple of kicks on a saturday and enjoy a beer or two..

You really are anti- Stiffy aren't you..
No one in Lincoln in the last 30 years has been as good as John Forbes ( took nearly 90 wickets in one season) You take 25 and you win the bowling trophy now, but Stiffy equal to Juddo and easily better than Hutchy..

Whos Hutchy or Forbesy? Never heard of them.... are u taking the p...
Wally Hammond off the long run was good in his day, had players jumping around and was aggresive. Agree scooby?
I am putting in for the managers job at the complex, would be a cracker of a job.
rm , see there you go again cant help yourself. Roof going on next month and there is 10 metres of window frontage facing the footy oval. rm = knows nothing. Whats next rm, Charlton will win the Agrade flag. You need help.
Can I back EP to finish last?

Shit Scoob, does that mean if I take 10 more I win the bowling? That would be embarrasing for PL cricket!! :D

Twilight meet Grub tipped 3 out of the first 4 winners. Can't remember if he got any after that though, was a bit pickled!!

That was the days of 2 day cricket and you could bowl as many overs as you liked tho scooby, dont forget that. You are bias against Charlton ,Hutchy was one of the best going around. His action was great.
Wally Hammond of any run I would have liked to have seen, those two words arent mentioned in the same sentance to often.
I am pretty sure I spoke to rr on the weekend, is that right rr? You should reveal your identity I reckon people would have a laugh when they find out who you are!

rm what does Pluricy mean? Yes thats right rm I did have a chat to you, would rather keep my identity a secret for a little longer, at least until after we win the cricket.
panther - what are the leaders on ?
All jokes aside, wont playing under lights be great in 2007, footy and cricket. We are pretty lucky for this opportunity all of us.
Occer Harrison was a better cricketer than Forbes over their careers.

Not biased against Charlton at RM.. Hutchy was a good bowler who played a lot a B Grade before he made As.. Old man Schrapes and Ruley were harder to face then Hutchy back then.
John Forbes is his name RR, best allround cricketer to play in Lincoln for a longtime. Played SA Country and terrorised India & Pakistan...
Im good mates with Wal Hammond, was quick on his day but bowled dead straight, he ran in that fast he used to fall over all the time. Wal like myself are living on past glories when it comes to running quick!!!!

WCP, If you get 10 more wickets and win the bowling trophy I suppose Maverick and the other Stiffy knowckers will then class you as a better bowler than Stiffy!!! LOL..

be interesting to see if he plays for PLFL in the near future

i believe in one match he kicked 10-10, not bad for a 16yr old

Let's decide how good they are once they get down here and have played a couple of games in the PLFL. I watched Cleve v Rudall 2 years ago and was not very impressed with the standard. I could seriously say Waybacks reserves side of 2004 would have accounted for Rudall and probably knocked over Cleve as well!! There are good players in all leagues, but hell the depth was awful, last 6-8 players would have struggled to make a PL B grade GF side.

That should stir up our Northern EP posters, but I believe it to be true.......

totally agree with you about Shrapes scoob i grew up keeping to him and he could definitely be a handfull never forget standing up to him in the last few years when he came off the 3 step runup i stumped beebs and harrison umpiring at square leg called it wide not out you could imagine the following kerfuffle but harrison stood by his decision and the game continued. Last time i saw shrapes come off the long run and the story goes that thats why beebs neck is so short these days this event happened and is true got anything from the old days that compares mate????

Having finished winless, at the bottom of the ladder last year we would have to be stupid to plan for a premiership this season, however sitting top at the minute, surely it's not totally out of the question :? :?
