Still with the cheque book comments Cougar!! Anyway, everyone is entitled to their own views.
You are absoultely spot on with your comments about Carter though. His Finals performances over recent years have been incredible. He really has stood up in the major round, and yes, earned his money!
From the Lions point of view great to see former Crystal Brook stalwart Craig Young play well against Narine. He was a very solid play up here in Northern Areas and won Crystal Brook's Best and Fairest in 2006. I'll be interested to see who he matches up on.

GH wouldn't allow that. Expect Sitters to quit his job this week and take up employment at G Hughes Constructions.

Tips for Finals
J/C GF - Torrens Valley Vs Kangarilla - TV By 2 Goals
S/C GF - Nairne Vs Torrens Valley - Nairne to Win by a point
B Grade - Kangarilla Vs Kersbrook - Kangarilla by 3 Goals
A Grade - Kersbrook Vs Torrens Valley - Kersbrook by about 5 goals

Should be a good game.....hopefully.

At Maccelsfield.........Wouldn't say HOT favourites. Definitely favoured as margin is 2-1 Kersbrooks way during the season between the 2 sides, but all margins have been within 7 goals. Should be a good game.

Go you Lion$$$. Few things sweeter than seeing Kersbrook crumble at finals time, be it cricket or footy 8)

As somebody who played a few years of senior colts at TV (for 2 wins  ) it's very pleasing to see both the JC and SC team playing on Saturday. Well done to all involved. It wasnt long ago that colts at the club were almost non existant.

unless I've missed someone's reply it would appear that that is the case with Perhaps Raidis considered a possible successor.

What's the deal with the former Country div player who is now umpiring persecuting players for minor on field discretions when he as a player was one of the dirtiest the Hills League has ever seen?

I was there in those years too Saintal and what a great turnaround for the Club. For all of the success that Hughes' $$ has brought to the A Grade, the Club is doing sensational work with the kids. Kersbrook are deservedly favourite in the A's but you never know what magic Carter can conjure up on the big stage....

QUOTE OF THE YEAR..FROM THE HON SIR G. HUGHES..

"WE INTERVIEW ALL PLAYERS WHO ARE COMING TO THE CLUB,AND IF THEY ARE NOT INTERESTED IN BEING PART OF THE CLUB, THEN THEY ARE NOT WELCOMED.".. THESE DAYS..YOU HAVE PLAYERS FLOATING AROUND ChASING A FEW DOLLARS.."

I thought all you needed to go to TV was a BSB and a acc NO!!!

Things must have changed.

kangarilla only appoints every coach for 1 year then they have to re-apply, stringer has already re-applied the committee will make a decision that is best 4 the club. but i would put my money on stringer to coach again, and radius with the reserves again. and possibly alan stringer to assistant both of them.

OR Double Blues,

Who are you talking about?

And remember, if he was one of the dirtiest players ever seen, that does not mean he would not be a good umpire, the key word here is was

It's only 'was' cos he's not playing anymore. It's just strange that someone who was a hatchet man is now coming down like a ton of bricks on people for nothing.
