We were aware of Dugga Watherstons return some months ago, initially we thought we were a show with his misses vowing she wouldn't go anywhere near Poole Oval. Latest mail is that with Patch now getting involved he would remain a Tiger, playing though is another kettle of fish. Still be very handy, but been out of the game for a few years and playing for Bostons would hardly be enticing!! I'd expect to see a lot more of him in the Northern punt bar than at CHF!!

Yes Troy Hull will have a chat to BW. But as they "dont pay players???" out there and he has employment, what chance have they got? He might want to return to the all New "Rooster Park".
Havent heard from RR for a while? Maybe he's still getting over the fact that no sport was played at Ravendale on the weekend?

why wouldnt his Mrs want to go near Poole Oval? panther. What are you saying? another occasion where wcp half says something and lets other people finish it off!
Can say Patch has stated to us that he will play at Tigerland if he can get the body right, big frame, would be a great leader and exactly the type of prsonal we need back at the club, along with biggles.
So this is one occasion where we will retain a player, BEAUTY!!!
Put the loot away BTB!
Saw Warrior in town, not sure on the coaching job tho.

Old Sammy not bowling well and I expect Raz Taylor and Stiffy to be in for the final. Interesting selection call coming up for captain reidy. Sammy bowls well at the carnival, so it will be no surprise if he takes wickets over there..

Snozza put you under the pump?! Sorry Scoob, can't say I was anywhere near Centenary on Sat, let alone out in the middle with you. :?

cant deny that you arent Chook snozza, after our conversation on Saturday. Keep the comments coming!
You definatly ran scoob out.
We have picked up some handy recruits this year. Should be more competative hopefully. Anyone going to the BFC Caberet coming up? biggles? mav? Bystander?
Playing at Bostons would hardly be enticing? panther what do you think Wangary is the Taj Mahal? Dont forget it is a paddock with sheds!

What more do I need to say RM? Same reasons you lost Jon Hunt........who'd have young kids at Poole after matches!!

I was talking about the playing side of things with regard to enticing BW out!! Why would he come out of retirement to get flogged by 20 goals each week? And if you want to compare Wangary to Poole continue on, at least we have an adult size ground with the best surface in the League, where you can buy beer and soak up some atmosphere of a day at the footy. After the last game of 2005 when we belted you guys by 32 goals in front of 3 of your specators (2 coaches and Mega) the signs were more than ominous of how bad your club is at the minute. At least the surfie crew used to turn up and laugh, now they seem to have disappeared as well. Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!!

Snozza is not chook Fauser as you all think.
Charlton Bgrade definatly wanted to play cricket and just bowl from the one end on Saturday. What has happened to the profesionalism in the game?
mav , havnt heard from me in a while? try cdming up with a decent subject then. Ravendale is just being set up, next year it will be the best sporting complex in country SA and we be there. Not across the road near the old dump or not in the heart of the housing trust homes, no a million dollar complex overlooking an oval!
Well done to the Tasie lads who represented PL. Good job. Footy training for a few has started, get out there.
Laeve Sammy Newman alone, rm how many times have you represented EP? (not including hopscotch). Adam Ryan should have gone though.

Keep it up boys - some good banter. Any Tasman footballers please note training tonight at Hockey field 6pm. Is this early or other clubs cranking up this week?

most clubs arent to concerned about pre-season eppie. Except Tasmans because you think the premiership is won in July! Wally will have them up and running. Get belted by them early then when it gets serious most of them will look the other way and try hockey!

RR, Adam Ryan didn't even turn up for Hendo Shield on Saturday, a no show!! Imagine him in town for two weeks, you'd never find him. Think after that effort on Saturday Tasmans will encounter the same problems Souths did in getting him to committ to footy and be a solid contributor over the whole year.

Possibly the dumbest and most self centered comment I have seen posted here since the demise of Featherduster. Any one involved in Port Lincoln footy who doesn't honestly believe that we need the Tigers is not in the game for the right reasons.

You training tonite Eppie??? Can't wait for WCP to respond BTB.. From what I remember Brett Watherston was a very very good footballer. Haven't seen him for a long time but surely he aint carrying that much pud which would prevent him from playing.. Just be a matter of motivation I would think.. He would still get a kick in this association.

Snozza=M Smith

RE BFC comments i've been away for a while but i love the club the juniors especially are going to be teriffic this year and with quality guys like luke Schrapel around the club i would have no hesitation with my kids being there Sure they have been ordinary for some time but it doesnt help with guys changing clubs like they change their underwear i dont recall winning an A grade game at the club but i would never play for anyone else. Ther is a big effort going on in the club to improve and PL definitely needs a Strong Tiger outfit in the league. The next few years will see them improve and as for being a rowdy club i guess it looks like that from the outside but there is a genuine family atmosphere about the tigersw just like im sure there is at all the other clubs you have to remember we are grown men playing a physical and emotional game how can you expect there to be no jousting afterwards what are we all sensetive new age guys WTF i hope not

Definitely going to the cab and fitness programme has started now the boots are on this year
