Smelty A grade gig is his, with the under 14s coach matt quist to coach/player/captain the B grade. word is $40,000 for smelty and for him to bring players. Apparantly there is alot of tailem boys and Imps boys are heading down south. Also Nairne Bremmer Star Nathan Twoomey is heading down south aparently got connections with the presidents son.

some of that may be true... the rest of it just rumours

stringer has not yet been given the boot. interviews for the senior coaching position were last night and thursday with smelt and stringer the only two in real contention. club will announce its decision by next monday at the earliest.

raidis will more than likely NOT coach the reserves next season. happy to assist in the a grade but playing is more to his caper. has signed on as a major sponsor for next year. his small change should be enough to build a new grandstand and bar! most likely candidate is 2007 premiership coach kev wilson, max thorpe or mal brown. quist... no chance... a grade material

the kangarilla a grade coach is payed about 10g. 40,000? pffft no chance. not even for smelt

spoke to the smelt express before his interview for the senior position last night and is keen for the job but interest is coming from closer to home. nairne are definatly vying for his services and are asking for him to put in an application but think he'd rather not coach against his mates

have also heard on the grapevine that nairne have already recruited 3 big names even though they dont have a coach yet. and for all these things rams supporters say about not paying players..... ive spoken to a few blokes who have been offered big money by them. i dont see this as a problem at all... unfortunatly its the way country footy is going... but maybe they should think twice before whinging about tv etc. atleast hughes and tv are open and honest about their buisness.

twooms played alot of footy at south adelaide with the presidents son and lived with him for a while so while its a possibility i highly doubt it

Wrong..incorrect..crap

and if anyone knows i think I might...

Nairne have approached many parties for their job as everyone does ( and should if they r to get the best man 4 the job)

re Player payments..Unless monies r coming from outside the club there is no big money at nairne..chapmans have closed..their main sponsor is now the 2nd hand shop in the main street run by the senior cits!!!

1250..if u r going to post absolute garbage..do it somewhere else..and dont waste my and many others time..

Have been reading the site for a few months now but thought I should join so I can set some facts straight regarding Nairne Bremer.

Obviously we're looking for the best coach we can find and several people have been contacted to see if they are interested. No sense in just waiting to see who might put in for it.

Yes we pay some players like most clubs do, but I don't think it's anything stupid. Just trying to compete in an improving competition. Our focus will be on the Juniors coming through.

If you want to know anything about the RAMS just ask and if I can share it I will. No sense hiding behind corners or forums and talking rubbish.

Welcome RAMS,

I used to play in the Hills Country league and I used to enjoy playing against the Narine RAMS.

Good luck with your pursuit for a coach and for success in 2009 at RAM Park.

p.s. The oval surface looked great early in 2008 and the lighting makes for good night matches now.

Terminator,sj can obviously coach a bit , but when he coached at Birdwood in the HFL I have never seen a coach abuse opposition players, supporters and coaching staff from the coaches box like this guy

Terminator, have moved on and no im not one of those try hards has been as you call it, anyone who conyinues to play football for no payments and just because they enjoy a kick and a catch should never be called a try hard, comments like that would offend every person on this entire site as we all play the game for FUN not as a career, i may not have amounted to much on the footy field and I have played at much higher levels than div 5 but who gives a toss what level of footy i have played or anyone else for that matter. Yes we all have made mistakes and all my point is, why cant sj talk of his mistakes aswell as his achievments, talks the big talk about his work at Angaston and Birdwood, never mentions Hope Valley or GGFC. I give you the big tip also term, having played at both higher and lower levels there are currently players playing footy at GGFC that would be very very competative at the higher levels guaranteed. I am deffinately not one of those, my time has way past so if you wish to call me a has been so be it. Getting older term does not make someone a HASBEEN as you put it, just means we are nearlly done playing simple as that.

is it true? i heard a rumor on the grape vine that C Lines??(Rams) is making a move to the R.M.F.L looking for a gig in A's for either Chooks or Blues, would be a handy recruit for the blues if they could get his foward presence there.
