has played reserves with Glenelg.
Can play tall or as a midfielder.
Aggressive and always looks like he's angry. Hard at it.

What do you mean - two points each or a point each?

Have you got a list of the poitns allocations?
Would be fascinated to know how it works.

Two points for an Indy player? I don't think that's great. But - depends what's a one point player? And what's a three?

not real sure i think a reserves player is worth 3 points league player depends on how many games they played. say if u loxton gets a berri player then thats worth 3 points.

Berri recruits:

Picked up two players from West Gambier, obviously Grant Russell's brought them down.

Shane Hanson - strong marking forward KPP
Mark Kruger - in and under ballgetter who's a goalsneak.

Word from the South East is that they're very good players and will do well in the Riverland.

So, Berri got any more coming?

Moorook's recruits:

Dom Wundenberg - former club junior. Back from Lochy North
Brett White - as above
Trav Voigt - midfield player and new coach
Todd van Dyke - has trained, likely to play. Not sure where though
Craig Treloar - as above
Simon Bullock - rangy wingman from Loxton B grade
Adrian Hogg - former Moorook colts who's played at Wunkar and Loxton
Bryce Singh - former Loxton player
Simon Eleveld - brief stint at North. Soccer player
Todd Griffen - young wingman. Will develop.

All I can think of. Not too many out and out stars - plenty of depth though and all very welcome at the club.

DW, is Bryce Singh any relation to the ex West Adelaide/Crows listed played Balraj? Presumably a brother? And do you know if Balraj still plays these days? and if so, where?

Bryce is no relation - far from it.
He comes from farming stock out at Paruna.
However, his brother Ryan DID play juniors at Westies.
A very good player when he was younger - but injury's taken its toll.
He'll be playing for Brown's Well this year.

Bryce Singh

Postby 200 Killer Wasps » Fri Mar 02, 2007 8:31 pm

Recruited by the President was he Dogwatcher.

And yes there is some Indian blood in this Singh family, back to his great grandfather who I might add was a legendary goalkicker for the Wanbi Football Club in the 30's and 40's.

I dont know if he wore the Turban and all that stuff but he was a hawker in the district, sort of modern day travelling salesman.

Not the pres Supa - although that would've made sense. Works with Trav. Although last night Bryce was telling people he was going to Brown's Well - so we'll see eh?

On the Brown's Well front - Dale Bewley (I think that's his name) is leaving Wunkar to play for the Bombers. He reckons he'll get a better shot there. Interesting comments. The boy has a little talent, but could improve in other areas. The Rudd boys and Mcloughlan (spell?) are also going to Brown's Well.

Former Bomber junior and Loxton North player Brendan Viney to Lyrup. I'm not sure if he's palyed for a while - but eight years ago he was very good. Just injury prone.

Tony Schulz not playing due to work commitments - or so he says. I hope that's not the case. Simon Hucks confirmed for Wunkar.

David Grenfell looks to be staying at Lyrup - despite all the pre-season controversy and chatting with several clubs.

Angus Zielke leaving Paringa for Lyrup.

Robbie Vagg - promising youngster - going from Barmera to Cobdogla.

I dunno about Flarts playing again, that's a bit scary if you're a Renmark supporter. Ben Taylor may come out of retirement too if that's the case. lol

Sounds like the A grade will improve though - gained a bit of tall timber and some young fellas have come back from town.

It's hard to say how Loxton are shaping up.
Lots of scuttlebutt going around about who's playing, how good the new coach is going and who's leaving.
No news of recruits yet, but the club may need to pick up the talent to replace those who've definitely left.
Will need a goalscorer, that's for certain.
