Talking of bad suppoters, do Berri have any? Seriously, I don't think they have any really bad supporters.

No relation. He is a cousin to Tammy Durdin the professional golfer.

He also has a twin brother Mark who is under 18s at West Adelaide.

I was the original 'Boy from Halidon' happy to hand the title over to Sam.

The Durdin's lived just down the road from us in Halidon. My mum babysat Sam and his brother and sister when they were little tackers.

I didn't think Mick was related but he may have been a distant relative as he lived in Halidon when he first moved to the area. From what I remember Mick was related to all the Durdin's around the Hamley Bridge area.

Another young lad from the area who is destined to walk on the big stage as well is Aaron Francis. Aaron has also received an AFL scholarship, next level down from Sam I think. Aaron is the son of Dave Francis.

Well, there you go. Someone told me Sam was his son.
Mick is definitely related to the Hamley Bridge Durdins, I went to school with a couple of his relatives.
Aaron is a gun, I remember watching him play juniors at North.
And you're right, BS, Dave is a great bloke.

All of those Francis lads are good kids. The two that played at East Murray this year are a pair of the nicest guys I've met.
