That's Willunga, can play ordinary and still win by 7 goals. It's called cruise control...
Willunga will be very hard to beat come september especially if guys like Guitnik can hit "Thunder" form & fly like the "Birds"!

Well said, its going to be an intense finals this year, any team could win it on their day.

With 5 games to go.....Thats taking the "old guys don't do pre-season" just a little too far IMO.

In his own words 'it' went "good".

So will be interesting to see/hear of any outcomes.

I thought I heard on the news last night that if the 'disqualification' was changed that the GSFL Umpires would strike.
So will be one to watch with interest I think.

Hope it doesnt come to that. He does have the right to appeal - lets hope they didnt crumble too much.

He wont be playing for Bays - remember Dick Littlely said on the Bay site:

"The Encounter Bay Football Club deeply regrets being involved in the incident and has determined that the major offending player will be eliminated from the Club. He will no longer play or take any part in any Club activities now or in the future."

Yep, can't blame the umpires for wanting to strike hey. Well done to the SANFL for screwing SA Footy even further. Apparently someone from the SANFL is going out to Umpires Training tonight to try and mend the already burnt bridge... What a joke.

There was an under 17 for Handorf (I think?) in the HFL that recently got suspended for life for a similar incident. I am guessing that we will see him getting a reduction in his sentence from the SANFL over the next couple of weeks. Opens up a real can of worms.

Would be a shame for the GSFL umpires to strike because it would affect all of the other 9 clubs as well as all of the individuals that do not have anything to do with the incident but If I was an umpire I would be pulling the pin this weekend in disgust.

Anyone know the reult of the report and send off of the E.Bay senior colt from Saturdays match for allegedly kicking another player?

Also noticed E.Bay have lost a LOT of senior colt players recently. They only had 9 players warming up Sat b4 the game b4 being joined by 1/2 the junior colt team to make the nos. up.
Well done to the young E.Bay lad who slotted a goal in the last qtr, rumour has it that he was up for $50 or $100 from his parents if he kicked one.

An absolute joke. The lad was lucky to only get 5 years in the first place. Seems he thinks he is going to play AFL , good luck, who would take him on? Where is he going to play in 3 years time anyway? Can't blame the umpires if they now take some action in protest.

Have made our clubs rules and umpires decisions a joke... It is ridiculous and I dont reccon hell ever get a spot at the Bay again and I would hope other Clubs would also see this and not want to take him on...

Yep this is true.. this little battler is only a second year junior colt, too I must add.... Always hard to field teams at the Creek for us.. but with our senior colts this year it is harder.. Very hard when a couple of players have left due to being disciplined and not liking it.. a move the club had to made.. But how was it when the young lad kicked it.. Was like they had won a grand final.. BUT thats what a good team effort is like.. The Senior Colts that remail at the Bay are a committed lot and I hope that they get some sort of smiles out of their footy.. Even tho they are belted each week.. KEEP UP THE SPIRIT I SAY...

I would like someone from the SANFL to explain how they came to this decision.. and why it was even heard at this level.... The kid wacked an umpire...
