Two Wells vs Mallala (TW by 3 goal)
United vs Virginia (United by 10 goal if they play Searle back up forward)
Hummocks vs Hamley (HWE by 10 - 12 goals)

I can't understand why United would not play Searle up forward, they have no goal kicking power up there and the logical thing to do is put your best goal kicker for some years now in the mix (Only the start of the year I'm sure Broady will work it out!).

Has struggled juggling his footy and his acting career, most recently starring as Benji in Underbelly. Now that filming has finished I expect him to start playing some good footy.

Matt Leigh is a solid player. Hard at the footy and runs straight thru the footy and anything else thats in the road. Played well in first game. Will be handy for tiges in the finals. Unless he has something else planned :D :D

maybe searle isnt interested in playing football
wanted to play at kilburn, but was shown a contract he SUPPOSEDLY signed last year that committed him for this year
he definately wanted to leave and have a year off from there, and after talking to him this week, he isnt really motivated at the moment

Mallala by 10 points.
United by 34 points.
Hummocks by 40.

...and the Bays by 3 goals over Central!!

Willy is a pretty handy midfielder with pace to burn and his second and third efforts are equal with others at United like Schulz and Sobey. United's weakness is its lack of pace in the guts and Willy more than compensates for this. Great move I reckon.

FootyFollower - If he isn't motivated then why does he keep showing up to training and often even does extra when others are finished. That shows plenty of motivation to me.

Apparently did a big pre-season and played trials in mid field admittedly with Kilburn, but he's super fit wants to play midfield (from what he says) and has got the talent to play there, so why wouldnt you play him there! Plus United have recruited a stay at home full forward in Quinten Graham whom im sure they would expect to exceed Willy's capabilities given his experience at league level in premiership sides, so i cant see the issue.

It doesn't matter if Willy wants to play there or not.
He's paid to play, so if he wants his money he'll play.
He is certainly good enough to dominate a game in the midfield.

why would u want him to dominate in the midfield wen he dominates up forward every week, u dont play the most dangerous forward in the league in the middle wen hes capable of kicking more then 80+ goals a year. and if he wants to leave they should let him leave, theres nothing worse then having a player play for u who dosent want to be playing for u

Well, if you know his father, Douglas, like i do then honesty is his biggest attribute  . I dont think Willy is that sort of bloke though. Now that he has started there this year he wont move clubs, and id bet me left one that he plays out the year there.

I wouldn't call him the most dangerous forward in the league this year. Like Swampie said Quentin Graham is more than handy up forward. I'm sure Broady will have it all planned out. Just remember it's only Round 3.

Totally agree with you droppie. Plus its always good to keep your options open and if the coach thinks the tiges are lacking up forward then at least he knows that willy is more than capable. It is Round 3 with new players in the side. I'm sure every team is experimenting with at least 1 or 2 players.

Yep, pretty close to it, took a few trials to get the formula right, but Fitzy believes he's on to it now.
