Also been told that ALL Paid players from last season except 2 have agreed to play for $00000000 (ZERO) next season to help the club survive.

Is that fair dinkum jj? From a good source?

Charlie has probably got as much chance of picking up Brads as he does his nephew. Surely Brad Green will lead Demons into the Major Round again.

Wouldnt have thought that was a fair call... i know all three of these lads well. Roughton, small wingman with alot of pace and can kick goals (reciever), Patman about 5 10 solid build, smart forward, aggressive, Quinn, about 6 ft or maybe slightly bigger, very fit, huge leap, a little inconsistent maybe. All of these players have played decent div 1 footy. You couldn't even compare div 1 footy to Hills country...dont kid yourselves people it would be div 4 low div 3 at BEST. Play on.
They might have been bit players at TTG, but put them in the Middle against Brett James, Paul James, Brad Pearce and Brad Lees and I know which blokes I'd take.
Wow interesting considering they are not onballers.. As I said Roughton is a wingman, Patman a forward and Quinn a utility...sorry I forgot its a country thread and you have to spell things out...i'll write slower for ya...

And if you knew anything about Hills Country Football, Maccy are lacking serious depth at the moment, and don't they'll be looking for recruits to play in a forward pocket  If they're ex Div 1 blokes (as been suggested), they'll be where the play is, and they will get smashed by Kersbrook's midfield. If you don't know anything about Hills Country....don't post.

id say its more than a rumour but not set in stone.

coach princi at myponga apparently has 37000 to play with for recruiting and guitinks name has been floated around along with barrat, clarke, david stevens from flagstaff, ward, cooney and willis. looking at 250-300 a game for being a cheeky mudlark.... sources are good on this one!

i know nothing about the 'level' of this league, but i would say that most midfields would struggle against the James gang.the question should be how these recruits [ if they are in the midfield ]match up against the other sides. i have said in previous post that these players have probably played their best but have the ability that can only help lift the club

Ha ha you idiot...Played Hills central and know the standard in Hill country is lower than that!!!

As Moz suggested, The james boys would beat most midfields. These blokes arent midfielders, although they may spend some (limited) time in there. Most coaches with half a brain would have defensive midfielders or taggers on the james boys anyway you clown so its not as if they would be going head to head anyway....And for ifo Moz, these blokes are 26/27 years old, hardly played their best footy. The country stereo type ringing true here.,...
