The only news I've heard at Ports is the rumoured recruitment of Ryan Helling from Cleve.

I don't know if the young lads will be travelling back to play each week like they did last year.

Ash Masters would be good to see back in the black and white.

On the news about players changing clubs, I didn't see any posts about the return of White Tips...

The Big Squid is comparable in footy talent to myself, which is to say he has none, without having the immense interpersonal skills I possess.

Saying he was a loss was, in a word, sarcastic.

Anyone remember a thin young ruckman who wasn't that crash hot? didn't mind a conversation on the field- because he never got close to the ball?

Any predictions on a Reserve grade ladder? With the influx of good players to PLFL this year, the standard of reserves Should lift you would think.
I think it will be something like this, NOT including finals

Tasmans(huge income of B graders this year. ie Perrie, Ricciuto, Parker  )
Bostons(Similar situation to TFC)
Souths(Incoming Star coach and a lot of extra depth in the eagles camp)
Waybacks(Won't be far off the mark thanks to lazy A graders)
Marble Range(Losing A graders will put pressure on Reserves)
Mallee Park(No info so i put them where i would like)

Played a bit last year at Waybacks was alright, i played footy against his brothers while we were up at Mid West and they were both pretty handy.

I think TFC will be the benchmark again.

TFC
WFC
MPFC
BFC
MRFC
LSFC

I think BFC a's proved last year that a star coach isn't enough.

Steve Parsons or Gonzo played all year and missed GF side due to a groin strain. Probably hardest decision made all year.
Very skillful on baller with a bit of that X factor about him. I rated him very highly and he was well regarded by our senior players. We were sorry to see him head off.
Good quality lad to go with it.....

My mate Franks band is playing after the races tommorow night at the track. How many people are going to the races tommorow?
