Brad Lees (TV Premiership Player 2007 with 4 goals in GF) has committed to Kersbrook for season 2008. Debuted with the Kersbrook Cricket side yesterday and he runs faster than he bowls!

Mark Cox signed for season 2008.

No word yet on Brad Green's future, but wouldn't surprise if he went back to Hope Valley, as he doesn't have to train there. Also has links with past Kersbrook and Hope Valley coach Mark Kamenic, who has taken on the Houghton Coaching position.

Kersbrook also hopeful Lee Hughes returns after a stint at Elizabeth.

Im guessing that has only happened since last Thursday, because he trained at a SAAFL club on Thursday night.

Not sure where you got your info about Greeny not having to train at Hope Valley?? He has to train just like everyone else and so far he hasn't missed one yet...

Has Ryan Hunter committed to any club for season 2008, after strong offers from Callington, Kangarilla and Meadows?

Ex Maccy player Joey Whyatt is confirmed as the new Echunga 'B' grade coach for season 2008.

TV aren't sure if they can recruit anymore due to the points system. They are already pushing 35, and may have to drop a couple each week. Kangarilla have drawn them in the first round, and will be pleased to know that half of their side will be missing due to a players (Young I think) wedding.

Why did you write that if he hasn't missed a Hope Valley training session? Greeny definitely wouldn't train for fun or fitness! If he's training there, he'll play there, but talk to me in June/July/August and let me know how many training sessions he goes to. And that's to train......not sit in the bar.

Nah, not yet. Speak to your Club's Prez, as they should have a copy. HFL Web site hasn't been touched for a while now.

I wrote it to find out exactly what it said. I was asking if it had been mentioned on the Hills Country thread or not? Pretty simple really.

I'll give you an update in June/July/August and we'll see how he's going. Classic comment by the way about the bar. Pretty spot on and made me laugh!! :D

Nairne finished 6th last year in the 2nd Division of Hills Football, so technically they are the 16th ranked side in Hills Footy. Wouldn't be sprouting off how weak Hills Footy is if you beat them.

By raiding a crap div 6 club like them you'll only ever get crap footballers who see the opportunity to go to another crap club and get money whereas otherwise they are too shit to be paid.

Decent players who actually work hard are a rarity in the lower divs.
