Well said Snozza..

Panther, good to see you can admit you were wrong!! Might rain all weekend and we can play the GF in the front bar of the Northern.. That would be fun backing up after the "Backy" on Saturday nite...

Good luck to all on the weekend..

Scoob, after captaining our two's last year I understand how tough it can be!! Still don't think I'm wrong on the lack of bowlers in the two's though, bring in Skinny, or Dongah, or Mole, or Blighty, or Bystander. And just some more food for thought, Ash Gray has made approx 100 runs in the last two weeks. Why wasn't he elevated and Hoges into the two's as the bowling allrounder?????? Not sure enough thought was put into the two's selection.....

Fair point WCP.. Think they wanted Ash to stay in 2s as they didn't know who else would captain!! Its all food for thought and everyone is entitled to their opinions.. When its all said and done, both As & Bs should win easily if blokes play to their potential and the selections won't be an issue!!!

give me a time and a place haloman...

Guys, i have a very good tip for Caulfield on saturday. R7 No.7 Umaquest with DD in saddle. I have this tip on very good authority (use to ride occasional work for the trainer)

Will be at very attractive odds (not favourite or short priced like TRR tips!)

Good luck

westcoastpanther wrote:Snozz, I must apologize as my mail regarding Jewels and Toddy was way off and I'll blame my source for that!! I don't have a problem with the A grade side, it's the lack of bowling in the 2's that worries me. Surely we have more than 3 medium pacers around that could have filled the void. Hopefully we bat first and make 300 with our 9 batsmen cause if we don't they could be set for a big score.....

ps. I still don't think it would be too late to bring Skinny in and drop one of the three new batsmen that have been brought in

No drama's WCP, i am nominating you to be one of three HS selectors for next season! My better half wants to know if your better half is donning the Imperials colours to defend the premiership this season?

With the mighty Shields Tigers thru to th GF in all grades in dominating performances who do we think will play them in each grade? Can Haloman regroup his kids after the scalackinhg they were handed out? Can BJ fire up the Coyts boys and will Wilky take Coyts all the Way or can Old Man Regan pull of yet another masterstroke?
Does anyone know if the showdown on Sunday clashes with the ING Cup final.... Good programming if it does!
Are all finals posies confirmed in Bgrade cricket?
Hendo Shields will just be a easy win. Other leagues arent up to it. So we should win everygrade have a look at the population differences!

good turn out at Tigerland last night, bluestheboy! Working up to that first game where we will shock Souths! pretty confident with their losses and our gains we can fire up and beat them. How was Mr Ramsey liked at Waybacks have heard a couple of different comments from fellow players. Has anyone thought about the ramifications if next week Tasmans win two games in a row! Now I suggest we all pull our heads in and start getting serious. C'Mon biggles get them going. Wcp gett Stiffy fired! and well whos left... LS or TR.... dont worry! Everyone has underestimated Charlton, with Knight, Yancic and White to return and the professional; fielding of Ash Gray they will be hard to beat. No one can handle Struddy or Rainbow!

Will SA actually win a final, The only way they can win a final is to bat for a day and get a draw! Bring back Maca and Georgie! Can you bet on the game? SA will find a way to loose.
Crows v Power should be interesting, expect the Mighty Crows to win by 40 -60 points.
Coyotes at thier best will easily beat a down on confidence Saints outfit! Wilky will be on the mound and blow them away mav! Bgrade anyones guess! and Saints juniors will just sneak in under the guidence of their great coach.
I looked at your tip in the paper today for the races tommorow and OL you say you dont tip favourites, yet your tip is $6 favourite???????
What happens at this draw all you guys are talking about on Saturday night?

Good plan RR, only one massive problem with it. They can only bat for 50 overs, seeing as it is an ING cup final.

I was making a tounge in cheek comment on the last peice of silverware they won. But good effort on advising me of that fact! Thankyou I will sleep well tonite now!

I have been talking to a baseball delegate this morning and it seems the LEP basball will move to the old footy changerooms near the Table Tennis Assoc. They will be upgraded to look out over the baseball diamond!

Out at baseball we have done well, we will now have 2 good venues. Some win , Some lose I spose!
