Redman, is that Ashley Barnett? God he's hard work to keep in hand, how did he go coaching those guys?
He'd sooner have a fight than a feed.

Wouldnt have thought he was a good enough footballer for anyone to ask about him. Wouldn't make most of the A grade sides in Country

He would make most sides in country. Missed this year but last was playing centre on all the big names. Put him on a back flank in most sides.

Are they still up to their ears in cash??

Barnett and Jenner gone and all who came to the club with them in search of $. Cally don't have a brass razoo to spend. Good luck to them for keeping it all happening though. Let's hope they survive another year. Have never met their new Pres or most of the Committee but good reports abound. All very quiet; I suppose they have nothing to report. What a hard job it will be for all so good luck to them. Other than that info, I know nothing.

Supposedly Bond made a call to TV to enquire about a gig there but don't think they were interested.
Think TV have signed someone who played league all last year at Norwood but don't know who it is.

Only a few, Danielle from every club in SA,Roughton, Quinn & Patman from TTG is my lot.

Is one who will probably be better than all of those. He won't turn Maccy into world beaters but it's a good signing for us. I'm surprised no one has put it on here yet but someone did go close a couple of months back when they mentioned what club he was from.

Amazing that Danielle gets a wrap 'for playing for every club in South Australia'. There's been a common denominator at every one except '06 at Kangarilla and that was only because he didn't want to play A6.

Blues, interested in the common denominator theory you have. Couldn't be SJ because he wasn't at Gaza or Kangarilla, can't think of anything else unless he was sleeping with all the coaches wives.Could have played Div 1 SAAFL on a regular basis if he had the desire, got swept up in his own importance and became a footy sl^t. Another guy with huge wraps on himself.

If he has signed what is his name? I understand if he hasnt signed you want to keep it to yourself.

Ace, hope you don't mean SJ re sleeping w/c/wives [ would not happen ]. if you mean the "common denom " different altogether. [and i don't know who he is ]. if as you say, he [com de ]could have played D1 on a regular basis, then maybe he is good, because what i observed in '08 , there are no mugs in D1.

Moz, I think the original poster meant the common dem. was SJ and for all of the clubs except Gaza & Kanga he was, however MD wanted everything handed to him on a plate. When at Gepps (played juniors there and lived across the road from the club)wasn't prepared to do the hard yards so moved to Gaza for a season, tried to come back to Gepps but was talked out of it, played a couple of A grade games at Gaza, dropped to the B's and SJ got in his ear and before June 30 he was with him at Birdwood. Went to Kanga for a year, tried to break a contract he'd signed with them, eventually followed SJ everywhere.
Clubs played at so far for MD: Gepps Cross, Gaza, Birdwood,Golden Grove, Kangarilla, Angaston and soon Maccy.
Would have been ideal as a partner for Chris Clonan but didn't want to work to get the gig, mind you he was up against some tough opposition.
