Only a few, Danielle from every club in SA,Roughton, Quinn & Patman from TTG is my lot.

Is one who will probably be better than all of those. He won't turn Maccy into world beaters but it's a good signing for us. I'm surprised no one has put it on here yet but someone did go close a couple of months back when they mentioned what club he was from.

Amazing that Danielle gets a wrap 'for playing for every club in South Australia'. There's been a common denominator at every one except '06 at Kangarilla and that was only because he didn't want to play A6.

Fairly sure a tall forward from Angaston Kyle McLean has signed with Maccy. He is still young but a keen boxer and has the makings of a good player, I would think he would be just 20 years old, Good hands not that good on the ground, but if SJ is building for the future is a good get.

Blues, interested in the common denominator theory you have. Couldn't be SJ because he wasn't at Gaza or Kangarilla, can't think of anything else unless he was sleeping with all the coaches wives.Could have played Div 1 SAAFL on a regular basis if he had the desire, got swept up in his own importance and became a footy sl^t. Another guy with huge wraps on himself.
Johnno p*ssed in his pocket and told him he was good and he believed him

As acknowledged in original post, didn't play under SJ in '06 as he wanted to play a bit higher standard than A6.
Far as Gaza goes, don't know the story but assume he wanted to have a go in A1 and I don't think Gepps Cross were in A1 at the time.

Moz, I think the original poster meant the common dem. was SJ and for all of the clubs except Gaza & Kanga he was, however MD wanted everything handed to him on a plate. When at Gepps (played juniors there and lived across the road from the club)wasn't prepared to do the hard yards so moved to Gaza for a season, tried to come back to Gepps but was talked out of it, played a couple of A grade games at Gaza, dropped to the B's and SJ got in his ear and before June 30 he was with him at Birdwood. Went to Kanga for a year, tried to break a contract he'd signed with them, eventually followed SJ everywhere.
Clubs played at so far for MD: Gepps Cross, Gaza, Birdwood,Golden Grove, Kangarilla, Angaston and soon Maccy.
Would have been ideal as a partner for Chris Clonan but didn't want to work to get the gig, mind you he was up against some tough opposition.

He didn't end up playing at Golden Grove for reason already mentioned

Damian, more likely the 'Torrens Valley Vultures', they pick the carcass clean. Actually sounds ok and fits the scene.

Perhaps that's why the black/red 'v' in the jumper, to represent the blood.

i with you there moz. Clonan has heart and courage and plays for the club he loves. MD has ability, no doubt, but would never reach those standards.

From what I have seen of MD he gets alot of the ball but fails to find targets and hangs onto the ball to long which makes it hard for the fowards, may need to sacrifice his own game to be a better player on some days.

Bingo, got into those bad habits early, it's now very hard to get him out of them. Many have tried and failed.

Andrew , i meant. saw 2 games last season [08 ] and looked as if he played on the wing / midfield . not much of him but he found the ball. some one mentioned on here that Pech had signed with Maccy [i didn't know there were 3 of them ] so i assumed it was him

Would be pretty dissappionted if andrew went with johnno, he made a fuss to get back at ango and demanded top dollar, which i believe he got! Leaving after 1 season and therefor making it 3 clubs in 3 years would put him into the footy slut category.Do believe he worth a bit (max 200 ) but nothing what he demands! He is only a forward flanker, goal sneak and not a top level midfilder like you can get for what hes asking. A bit of club loyalty would be nice, but that is also rare these days.
