Not old news - been trying to find out myself. Haven't heard from anyone. Tried a few people at Waikerie - but they weren't certain.

Have heard East Murray have picked up a new schoolteacher who has been acting as their fitness coach.

They have also picked a couple of likely types from the sand mine who are ex amateur league.

Will be in the neighbourhood on Wednesday I will see if I can find out more.

I read in the local Loxton newspaper that Kruger played well in the trial the other week. You'd have to think he'd start as one of the favourites for the medal over there this year.

Was always going to be interesting to see how the mining situation effected East Murray, and whether they could get any of the miners to play for them.

AND a school teacher as well, that'd be like gold out there. They don't come along as often as clubs would like these days.

Over visiting Supa?

In other news: Barmera-Monash have picked up former Woodville South player Mark Mueller.

And Berri's Peter Safralidis has been selected to play for SA Country against an Amateur under 23 side on the Easter weekend.

Yes - he'll certainly stand out for the Tigers.
Shane Clonan if he returns will be another one likely to challenge. It'll be a second in a row for him if he manages it.

Good to see Marky Owens is back in the Riverland!!

Was pleasantly surprised to see he didn't rack up another club for his list!!

Should be handy for Barmera though....

Yeah - ol' velcro shorts is back.
He's had more clubs than Tiger Woods!

Renmark, Loxton, Berri, Barmera, Cobdogla, Lyrup.....am I missing any?

Very nice bloke though. And he will be a good pick-up for the Roos, will he play As? Scary for their depth if he does...

Yeha, only met him once but seemed like a nice chap.
Have a funny feeling he wore the brown and gold for a season but maybe not.
Still, six clubs is a huge effort!

Barmera have a huge amount of losses and I'm sure he could still hold his own in A grade so why not?

Army - I won't be.
But Barry Dawson will be. A fat B grader he is.

I'll be at Moorook, playing in a trial against Trinity COS.

St Paul's will also be out and about that night too.

Hey!
I'm not that fat anymore.
Down to 80 kilos a couple of weeks back and would have lost more after more training/gastro!!!!

Should be a good night Army.....I think the club is putting a few beers on.
You guys are staying in the changerooms, right?

Thanks for the update on your gastro Barry!

What's the chances of you getting an A grade berth?

BTW - I want my safari suit back (need it for a party soon).

DW - Chances would be very slim!
I played okay in the internal trial match but pretty happy just to play B's.
I'm way too unfit at the moment. There's a fair bit of talent there to keep me out as well!!

Army - Yeah, the boys are all geared up for a big weekend.
Don't know how long I can stay, but will certainly be having a few cold ones after the match.
