Are you S.Drainer?

Are you suggesting a precedent has been set?
Very similar injuries, similar part of body used, similar distance from the ball.
Perhaps remind us how many week the hummocks player was suspended for after being found guilty. (yes I deliberately left the plural off the word week) :)

Anyway as expected a club report has been lodged. We will wait until Thursday morning to find the results.

I believe he got 3 with two suspended due to his long squeaky clean history which suggested there was not much in it. Unfortunately this fellow doesn't have a long squeaky clean history does he.

:? You yourself said Starry had his jaw broken. Pretty rude to say there is not much in it.

Anyway I would just like to make it clear that nowhere have I defended Drainer, nor will I be and now that the report is official lets just let the tribunal make the decision on how many week(s) he will get.

I think everyone has had their two bobs worth on the matter and probably better off putting the incident behind us and letting the judiciary sort it out.
Two huge games this week to focus on that could go either way going on recent form.

I think it wouldn't have been blown up so much if it was a local player and not a recruit.

What was crap about it?

I said the umpire didn't put the report in so it couldn't have been too malicious.
Umpire sent him off for it so he clearly saw it.

I'll have you know I was at the game and saw the incident.

Like a poster above. He was putting on a bump to stop the bloke from getting to the contest/realising Pym from a tag.

I can't see why that post got deleted.

The ump at the time couldn't have known that the infringed player had a broken jaw and missing teeth, hence he would have probably sent Drainer off for intentional high contact. If he knew the extent of the injuries at that particular time, he would have then known it was obviously forceful and intentional high contact, which would then definitely merit a report.

Umpires explained at half time was that they didn't report him as neither of them saw the incident.

What did they send him off for then?

Not sure but when we asked them how they didn't report someone who threw a cheap elbow and caused this much damage to someone's face they explained they didn't actually see the incident. But anyway I agree with lightning, I'm done talking about it and think we should move on.

So you're telling me if a full forward is walking to his position after the quarter time huddle, trips over and dislocates his elbow but no one saw it, the team could put a report in and say the full back tripped him over and stomped his elbow out of its socket?

Little bitta he said she said for mine.

If the team genuinely believed the player was fouled illegally, then sure they could put in a report, and the powers that be would deal with it accordingly. I'm sure the truth would quickly come out.
