You base this statement on what Shrek? Actual knowledge of the club or heresay. How come Kilburn didn't get a mention?

I hear the APFL boys are really happy about you..

Stag, your statement about Gepps & Salisbury North only adds to your lack of knowledge about the English language.

Stop and think about what you have written, if Salis. North have maybe surpassed Gepps, how can you classify Gepps as the "biggest rorters of the salary cap"?
An 'oxymoron' my friend, a bit like the guy who penned the post.

Apologies to the posters from Hills Country that this has found it's way onto this forum.
Now that is just plain dumb, don't you think?

Cougar you and all the others make me laugh..... you call Mark Clayton the Magpies skipper...... have you heard of Jeremy... and then you go on to bag GH because he spends all his money on recruits.... Kersbrook have recruited very well in Apples, Carslake and Pollock last year and dont tell me they were paid nothing. FYI last year Carter, Perryman and Fox were not paid at all because they returned the faith paid to them by the club. Hope they do recruit well and have a couple of wins against the club you used to play for before you left because you couldnt make there BS

They are correct. Prior to this year, Mark Clayton was skipper of Port Magpies. Corey AhChee was captain this year. Jeremy Clayton has not captained Port Magpies.

Thanks CK for pointing out Tanka's lack of footy knowledge, and perhaps all his comments come from the same substance. You're right on one thing though Tanka, in that not unlike yourself, I'm an old footy hack that can only reminisce on past glories. Perhaps I should take up coaching? Got any tips? ;)

Thank God someone else can see the forest through the trees. Mr Juicy you have restored my faith in fellow posters. ;) :D

Good luck to Johnno for the coming season. Hopefully everyone at Macclesfield get behind him like 'most' at Angaston did and the results will come... It may not happen over night but be patient.
If players are prepared to leave a club and follow Simon then obviously they have no problem with him, and they are the ones who he has the biggest impact on.
It's funny how in the football world there are so many knockers of the few who are willing to have a crack and put themselves on the line. Maybe the knockers should put their hands up next time your club needs a job done and see how thankless it can be.

Tanka - these guys have made you sound like a complete idiot, that you obviously are! I have no idea what clubs in Div 2 are paying players, nor do I much care, but I know for a fact that one of your key men from last year was offered a considerable amount of cash to play somewhere else and turned it down because it did not match the offer at TV, so stop trying to make people believe players come to TV because they love the place.

Tanka I hope you were pissed at 10pm on Boxing Day cos this Post is a joke! Steve Pollock was on a loan deal between Gumeracha and Kersbrook and will leave the Brookers after 8 games and a premiership medal. He is the Aaron Keating of Kersbrook and hope Pollock does well at the Gullies.

Cougar does this Tanka bloke coach Torrens Valley Under 10s

Don't know why he would have said that as it is certainly known at Maccy that Kersbrook aren't spending big dollars but it would be fair to say that his record for us wouldn't have counted against him

14 recruits. Each worth at least 2 points I take it, I mean if they are locals returning they haven't come because of Johnson, and you said he's brought them. Thats 28 points worth at least. Seen on this forum that a few are div one SAAFL players, so worth 3 points, that means 14 spots on the field are worth 30 points at least. 5 points remaining for locals. 19 players for 35 point max. Is SJ that good he doesnt need the maximum amount of players, or would you like to revise your statement Terminator? Oh and its spelt MAIL from Santa.

To be fair to Terminator, he did say SJ had brought 14 people, not 14 players.

Seems the rumour prior to Xmas about Echunga getting Antrobus Junior(son of Tony) from Div 1 club Gepps Cross will happen.

Haven't seen him play but don't expect to see anything like his father as a player, but they tell me he's a great lad.
Now that is just plain dumb, don't you think?

Yes, he is a good lad GA. But don't put money on him coming to a club out of town. I have heard of at least 4 HFL clubs who have been confident of his services but it's never happened. Handy player, but not as good as his dad.

Agree with you there ordobleblues some are probably people along lines of assistant coach / fitness coach that Sj has bought to Maccy , have heard on the grapevine that his fitness coach from at Angaston has come on board down at Maccesfield with him
