You are right but how is this any different from Alcohol?
from what i saw guys that take this stuff only ever seemed to be happy and want to dance (alot) and they didnt cause trouble on the other hand
They never want to get rid of the piss heads who want to fight or cause damaged to them self or the club, these guys may get thrown out for a night but come next week they are there doing the same thing always welcome as long as the club is making money from it IMO
so as long as they are not pushing it on your kids or taking the drugs inside the club or where they could get dropped for a infant to mistake as a lollie let them do it they are only doing damage to themselves and who the hell are we to judge them for it? Unfortunatly it will never stop it unless all clubs become dry zones and i dont see that happening other wise clubs wont be able to survive. so control it we must but not to the detrement of you club!

I know what your saying mate, and to an extent I agree with you in regards to the booze, but whether we agree or not, beer and booze is more socially acceptable than drugs.

What you guys dont realise is the players you are accusing did not do it every single week at the football club, and the only time anyone was actually seen doing it was on grand final night. What you also dont realise is that Wayne Stringer organised interviews with all players and 3 were not offered contracts next season because of RUMOURS they heard about drugs at the club, its nothing to do with the D & O policy as i know for a fact that if a player is caught doing it, the club isnt going to do anything other than offer help to the player or players involved and most people doing the drugs dont want help because thats how they have fun on a saturday night.

I think Lobey will improve and perhaps pull themselves off the bottom, but not very far. Bottom three would be a pretty safe bet, unless they have had a recruiting boom which no one has said anything about.

The Kersbrook Tavern appear to be trying to shorten Kersbrook crowds and participation for Saturday Afternoon Sport. On the weekend, an advertisement appealing for 'Topless Barmaid's' was from the Kersbrook Tavern, with suitable applicants to work on Saturday Afternoons. Now will average Joe from Kersbrook go watch Kersbrook smash Gumeracha by 30 goals or go to the Pub? ;)

Would be very surprised if this is the case unless they have recruited extremely well.

Without knowing for sure, would say that he has signed with them.
Will be another very good pickup for Torrens Valley

If that's the case, Kersbrook might get a few more forfeit wins!! Don't worry about the spectators, worry about the opponents goin to see some ladies instead of getting belted by 30 goals!!

Thanx for the PM Termy, but I remain unconvinced!

How much improvement can be expected from Birdwood?

Will the 3 lads from town (Krieg, Dempsey & McGahey) give them as much as they may hope for?

I think it will still be a struggle but they should improve on last year.

Understand the Combined Hills Country Team this season takes on Kangaroo Island at K.I. this year. Reckon the HFL could do worse than approach Roger James to Captain Coach the Association side. He's currently coachless, will sit in a Pocket for the Brookers this season, and if they were to get him to do it, may regain some interest in Association Footy. I'm sure more young blokes (not just from Kersbrook) would put there hands up to play for Side under the guidance of Arjuna Ranatunga.

There is grass on the Oval! However still needs a bit of work, and I'm not sure the 3 months till the start of the season will give it enough time to be right by Round 1. The Guys in charge have done a great job and are hopeful it will be right by then.
