Have heard rumour that Michael Carter and Ryan Battams have retired and that Scott Perryman will be playing in another league this season.

Found some news the other day that kangy might not be in as much trouble as first thought, apparently they have signed 8 new A grade players and 2 are very good players from what I have heard. If true the Stringer brains trust have kept this 1 quiet! Can anyone confirm or provide names oncewasaplayer you seem to be in the loop arent ya????

have heard something like this, (but who knows) what i have heard is this 2 recruits from strath, and a couple from flagstaff hill. maybe 1 or 2 from reynella. no names for you sorry!
also talk of josh burton, sean ewings and brendan walsh returning from work in wa. hope they do well but have moved on so no longer in the loop.

still think tv will be team to beat IMO after hearing that they have signed Trewen, Clayton, Nathan Buzz McDowell (Pt Adel) and siblings of Young, Jaques and Slatterys brothers (Cleaning up in the runs beating league stars) starting to look unstopable around the ground. also heard that tv may still be in the running to pinch Krieg, 1 more Josh Hill looking fitter then ever may be looking to get back to onball half back.

who have kersbrook picked up that will help them beat tv?
IMO they were lucky to win the gf last season, i actually think tv lost it after kicking 1-10 last 1/4 and what was the margin 8 pts? but you got to be in it to win it. anything can happen on the day just dont see anyone matching TV at all. wakefield to win medal this year should of won it last year but took a spur of the moment holiday to thailand for last two rounds maccy and kersbrook costly decision.

Ask the Kersbrook Coach how they performed in last year's GF, and he'll answer "Poorly". Yet they still got the Chooccy's and were only one game off an undefeated season. Gardner from Onkas has signed and there are couple of others in the pipeline at this stage. A premiership team with an ex AFL player as Coach will always attract numbers. Unfortunately will never be able to compete against TV in $$$$ game, so they are always gonna be tough to beat with their well documented signings.

They were looking at trying to save some money this year and maybe get a couple of reliable recruits - last year they were so up and down and had paid players that they werent even sure whether they would be playing until 30 minutes before the game...the club has the right people on the committee, some good local players (but not enough depth..)... they really need a decent coach with dicipline out there (if the team they had last year had of done a full pre season and trained twice a week i'm sure they would have won a few extra games).

Not to many people givig Meadows a chance, should be a better side than last year when they just missed out on finals football.

Have all clubs started training now....I know Echunga haven't offically started as of yet, several going for runs, but they have not offically started pre season yet, just wondering if this is strange, are there other clubs that haven't started yet (except for callington).

Gee from the sounds of it TV would go close to winning the Central Division Flag with some of their signings. McDowell is an absolute gun and would go close to being the best player in Central Div if TV played up. Which Krieg are you referring to? Matt who has signed with Birdwood or his brother?
