Are Gums going to let the Eastern Park recruits return even after signing contracts for this year?

heard Ricky Buckfield from ep has gone to gummys as well.
not bad player rick when switched on.
had 11 game suspension over his head with the saafl, so probably good move for him.

Who are these blokes from Eastern Park heading (or not heading?) to Gumeracha? How many have they got? Last year they raided West Croydon which provided fruitless for their finals ambitions.

the ones i know are playing there are
mick ashby-kid is good real good came second in the medal last year
rick buckfield-can play both ends of the ground has a great kick that hits targets
tony lane-ruckman when available will cause some damage to opposition teams does heaps of ground work for a ruckman, believe his arm broken at the moment.
michael lane- very talented if he can be bothered
corey clarke-for a young fella this boy wont take a backward step so strong through his legs and he will only get better.

i think there is about 4-5 from ep.
the stand out would be mick ashby........absolute gun, kicked about 50 goals playing in the centre last year in div2.
gets a lot of the ball and uses it very well.
will poll well in the comp.

Cheers Robran. But do these blokes know what they're up against and what they're working with?

Robran, those EP blokes were Div 3 last year. Good Luck to them, but they're going to a club that had 2 wins last year and an average losing margin of 30 goals plus against all the Top 5 sides. Gumeracha are gonna need more than them, just to be competitive.

I dont know if has been mentioned, but apparently Gums have picked up Quentin Graham the former Central District premiership player. Will be a very handy pick up.
