wcp - bo'r already knew about schuppas (and the others) - and there are a few more signatures out there at the moment - however u know I wouldnt post on here until they are well and truly sewn up........too many clubs have fallen into that trap and lost the player.......

Axe - way too informed about your profession - makes the rest of us sound stupid - but I can confirm your comment about the bookies - they rarely take bets that they have a liability of more than a G...........btw Sunny Diva's price OMG!

I rest my case... Axe
Axeman, don't feel obliged to justify or respond to every comment made in your direction on here...(leave that to the panther)....there are dark creatures called trolls that hide in the background just waiting to take a cheap shot. That is their sole purpose for being on here..don't get sucked in...also would probably refrain from any comments regarding the 'playing surface' as these could come back to bite you...leave that for the O&T's

Speak for yourself TRR... Also the bookies have guidelines to meet regarding risk, and are not obligated to go beyond that...can say that given the normally small crowds at PL you cannot expect any more...not enough 'punters' or money to accurately frame a book so ....one thing you will always find however, is they will always let you on a favorite here. Sunny Diva was a 10/8 on fav IMHO, but the much maligned bookie puts us much better than that....seems to me a bit of wanting your cake and eating it too..............

Fair call bluesboy, but regarding the track, I couldn't give a rats what comes backa and bites me... i've said it all before.. I ask you.. how many of them on that track?? ah zero.. how many ride on it race day.. ah.. zero.. that track on sunday is the worst conditioned track I have every ridden on.. it needs a rest... so I have a bright idea... lets have grass gallops on it this morning two days after... there is not a track in this state that has as much grass galloping on it than this one... morphettville have grass gallops on the INSIDE track once a week IF YA LUCKY!! course proper once in a blue moon... strath, bridge likewise.. yet ours is expected to cop 2-3 times a week, then race on it... don't care where the cones are..

Just take a breath...in..out...thats better.....
but seriously, not saying don't raise your concerns, just use the fight forums...and I can guarantee you this is not the right forum.....the problem we have here in Lincoln is the lasck of suitable training facilities...don't train on the grass use the sand...but the sands too hard and my horse broke down...it's only been in the last 3 years we have been able to use the grass..before that sand / beach or back track (ouch)...thats the reason buddy that the new grounds/course committee was started this year to make the best of a less than perfect situation..reckon young coz and ross would be in the best situation to make the right call.

you say the sand track is too hard.. well I can say this much, its the best sand track in this state I've ridden on, strath, murray bridge, morphettville... this sand track is brilliant.. my boss back home runs group horses, i.e. Sassbee, Zip Zip Aray etc.. flat out on the sand track at Strath(400m in 23sec) and doesn't have a problem... and I can tell you this sand track here is a mile better than that.. that's all I'll say... other than we've worked most our horses on that sand track all year and hardly had a horse go sore... and not one 2yo go shin sore...

Bring back the jockey R Cope, he used to be my favourite.

What's to say. Tassies to good as most of us thought. Congrats to them and SES for putting on a good GF. RR I never doubted you blokes could win. Just didn't need to read everyday how good you are. The SES boys showed why they belonged in the GF and I would have thought there was a few nervous moments for you RR. I was standing near the Tassies camp When BK got bowled and I reckon a few of your blokes were a bit worried. Nice way to win a flag though. Big six of the oposition captain. Well played. WAD should have taken me money mate. Care for a wager on the season proper?

cant agree with grass gallops they are done 12 - 15 horses wide outside the cones and have no effect on the racing surface wich only gets used to 7 deep max. Totally out of line TA. All the club is worried about is the numbers thru the gate and the turnover!

Congrats to the Tasman boys. They were the best side all year and proved it on Saturday. Great to see the turnout at Centenary with a good crowd.

One thing I found quite strange though was that none of the Tasmans boys were presented with premiership medallions after the game. Anyone else find this unusual?

Sour grapes WTF!!!!!!. But just on the "Never in Doubt" call Why sour grapes? I never once have said you couldn't win, or that I really cared who won. Good luck to your lads, they desrved to win. The only thing you've achieved by being such a tool on here is to ensure my kids, or any of their mates, will NEVER play for the Tasman Cricket Club whilst you are still involved. But you'd be pritty used to kids not wanting to play for you by now. BRING BACK CH
