Haven't heard too much from Angle Vale of late - any reports on training numbers and how Hermy is going at the helm?

One other notable addition to clearance list is Travis Beard to AFL Sydney. Quality player when on

Beardy's taken up a job which includes working with GWS.

You would be starting to know a fair bit about some GWS (ex) rookies Donkey? ;)

I have heard of, but am yet to see, the player you are referring to on the track MC.

I've been told to manage my expectations, as I don't think he fits the mold of an ex-AFL development squad player.

Mould too small? Not an uncommon problem.

Rumour Whitwell has picked up ruckman, Will Farrelly, from Mallala.

If true, great get for BSR, big loss for the Magpies.

Was headed to Min-Man until Whitty got wind of it, didn't want to play against him then prowled on him to join the Tigers.

Should be a pretty tight comp this season:

Angle Vale: Should see some dramatic improvement under Hermy and with a couple of handy pick ups.
Balaklava: Haven't heard much but were already around the mark.
Hamley Bridge: Like Angle Vale, should see some decent improvement.
HWE: Showed signs last season and the young squad is maturing.
Mallala: A couple of big outs might see them come back to the pack a bit, were light years ahead though when all players were available.
Two Wells: Always around the mark, similar ilk to Balak's.
United: Will improve and could be a dark horse.
Virginia: Lost a few and could come back to the pack a bit aswell, I'm sure Jamie Thomas will have some tricks up his sleeve though.

It appears as though clubs are in groups of two at this stage of the year, should be a cracking season.

Wishing the big fella all the best - hopefully he'll return to the nest one day bigger and better than ever.

Hows that Hip injury to big Sam Day from the Gold Coast.
Sadly, reminded me of a similar injury probably 18 - 20 years ago at Wakey for Heath Walker.
Disgusting.

Hopefully there is no bone damage like Heath's or it will likely be curtains for him

angle vale not providing netball teams this year. Isn't this a condition of them coming in the legue.
is it too late to make a new draw if they havnt met their conditions.

Probably a bit late in reality for this year, but if conditions of entry aren't met, there is no decision to make.

Unless a club wants to change the conditions of entry then there may be a decision to make as to vote for or against the changed conditions.

Would make for a very boring day with no netball being played at the same time.....thats what makes the atmosphere isn't it? I thought they had a strong netball club?

At a guess, probably just Angle Vale, the Adelaide Plains Netball Association and the other 7 participating clubs, but no one important.

From my understanding there has been a major personality clash betweenness two women involved that has divided the club and caused the current situation

They have had to forfeit some of their senior teams in the finals at the Argana Park netball competition

This is a disaster for the club hosting Angle Vale twice as it will smash their home game budget to pieces.

Probably cost them well into the thousands of revenue, gate, canteen, bar etc.

Which is Two Wells. Ouch
