I would love to say the woods, but I have my doubts after last week. Uradlia found some weakness' of ours and expolited them. Being at Hahndorf makes the task extra tough, hopefully be a good game none the less.

Was last weeks game between Uraidla and Blackwood a bit firey? The courier mentioned a late hit.

From what I've heard it was one of those unlucky football hits with a bump and collecting the chin.

Tips for the week:
Mt Barker by 10+ goals
Onkaparinga Valley by 2 goals
Uraidla by 5 goals
Hahndorf by 3 goals

Was talking to one of Blackwood's B grade players last night and he said it's the A grade captain and is out for a few weeks. He stated it was just a football bump and there was nothing malicious in it

After today's result and the result last week, wheels look off at Blackwood. Hahndorf had absolute control over the game. How were the other games?

Venues should be released today or tomorrow.

The grand final venue is already locked in at Lobethal

No. They used to have it every year until they made the GF in 96. Its probably the best facility to hold it IMO when you take into account parking, viewing, oval size/surface etc. They do have to pay a fee to the other clubs in div 1 to host it.

Anyone got any insight into how the comp will look next year.
will the div 2 premier want to come up to make it a ten team comp again?
will two teams come up and lobethal get relegated?

Got out to see the game at Mt Pleasant yesterday, played on a heavy 8 track. The Dees recorded wins in the 17's, B's & A's. A good way to finish the season. Understand a couple of late outs didn't help the TV boys.

I think that it is just to early to make a comment. The only team that would possibly consider making the move up is Nairne and thats only if they win the flag. Got to take into consideration the possibility of more teams coming into the league, Happy Valley and Flagstaff Hill from what I understand are "considering their options". A lot of rumour and speculation, time will reveal all.

So now the finals start.
Anything to be read into the final round.
Hahndorf accounted for Uraidla after a slow start?
Were either team going flat out?
Who do we tip to win the two finals this week?

Did you hear any talk about TV will fold at the end of the year because Hahndorf won't be supplying them with excess juniors anymore

There was some chat at the bar about Hahndorf and the juniors but I came in on the tail of it. Sorry can't comment on it really.
