To catch up with Balak, Mallala & Two wells, probably not.

Good points but would they potentially be looking at is an investment in to next seasons team if they can hold on to the players.

You will find most of these players coming from SN will go back , if they get back in next year. I hope for the leagues sake these blokes do stay on next year, as we are seeing to many blow outs in this league, look at the 3 top sides they are clearly a cut above the rest. Why throw money at players who will more than likely head back to SN or another amateur club, and really will 2 players change the result that much? Invest in the youth that is where every clubs futures lie..

Verrrrry late clearance pending for Vinnie Rugolo to HWE. Not sure if he's played any footy this year but he was coaching Goolwa/Pt Elliott in recent times.

With 6 rounds to go it looks like an even 3 way contest for the A grade flag between Two Wells, Mallala and Balaklava. The Peckers recent form can't be ignored, can they go all the way?

B grade could be anyone's with 1st to 5th equal on points. Injuries and A grade finals to sort out winner, watch for Virginia to come food if their A's don't make it

Very strange season, no real standouts at all, one week a team can look a million bucks then it all turns to crap the next.

I haven't seen HWE this season but after a few years of being the whipping boys they have made great progress.

As for Virginia, they just always seem to lift a cog at the right time of year.

Virginia will not be qualifying extra players, Herzic won`t be up for that i can tell you that much for sure, and going on the result last game they are finding there form now, and still a few quality players missing from that game. But you are right any of these 5 sides are in the hunt. As for The A's, still reckon the Peckers are the real deal..

Thoughts with the Heaslip family and the Mallala Football Club after losing an absolute legendary kid in recent days.

We'll be sure to pay our respects this weekend at Balaklava. Max was a great lad, funny, cheeky and most of all, courageous. RIP young fella.

Big Nik reported again in the Rams pummeling by the Eagles today.

Interesting side note later in the game when Adrian Mark was unfortunately knocked out in a contest both teams went to respective huddles except one bloke who stayed by himself in his goal square at the opposite end of the ground.

goal square against two wells ?

Michael Wilson is this week's Local Football Legend. What this guy could have been, we will never know. Thoroughly enjoyable interview.
