hope BW is a good grab so he can handle all the extra spoils coming from MP

good get though wcp....what data do you play bostons? will be very interesting...may give bostons a chance to prove their a family club as biggles has mentioned....and their not going to try and put him in hospital instead.

great news about the two peckers not going to ramblers. not just for us but for the whole gffl i think! dont think waybacks player will go to cougars or any club this year...prob just getting to know some clubs for next year...i hope

Love the way you enjoy painting the picture for everyone, however our catering committee puts MR first. If you think we're going to sit back and let the WFC just slip into another great 'ERA', which is what you want, your mistaken. With this signing, the gap has closed......

You started the rot when you poached David Raleigh

Should be chuffed that you consider us the benchmark...given your recent "era's" that have been well documented. All bullshit aside, I would have been most uncomfortable if BW had signed with the WFC. We have differed on this matter before, but for the sake of the competition he needed to play for the Tigers. All clubs were asked at the end of last season to give the tigers some space in these matters, a request that at the time was agreed upon unanimously. This was a favorite son, son of a premiership coach returning back to the town to finish his career. The MR catering comittee has once again shown it's contempt for the game, PLFL and the BFC. Jeez wouldn't JH have been a nice trifecta to collect...DB, BW & JH.....pity you missed out on securing BR late last year...would have really provided the death blow....
Starting to see the real purpose of the supposed rebel group......very cunning.

Firstly, my plans to join the Tigers with TH & BW were very real. I was excited by the idea. The fact that he still hasn't joined his old club with us in tow indicates he really didn't want to go back there. I know BW is reading all this so I'll leave it to him to comment further if he wishes to do so.

Secondly, are we the only ones who have shown contempt as you put it, just because we secured his services. Does trying unsuccessfully not count? You feeling uncomfortable does not exonorate you, my thoughts are the same as yours but we are guilty by assocciation!!

Finally, and I've said this before, BR was not a target for our coaching position last year. Name came up, not for us came up just as quick.....

A cynic told me over a week ago what he thought the real purpose of the 'rebel group' was! Seems he was right.

thats a pretty ordinary comment WCP THUG; someone who is brutal and violent. Macquarrie dictionary translation. This does not apply to anyone at our club now or anyone who has ever played at our club or at anyone elses club for that matter. Can confirm that Brett Watherston has signed with Marble Range. I understand that it was not an easy desicion for Brett and i wish him all the best at his new club. One positive is that it has opened the door for young new recruit M Lanza who is mad keen to play at CHF and would not have if Brett was at Bostons. Matty will be stoked to learn that he will have that key position now and will be as much if not more of a handfull for opposition players. I cant wait to see him carve it up. The only problem i have with this is that it sends a pretty poor message to our juniors and current players when someone like Brett decides to leave the club and play for another in the same league. Many of our juniors look up to guys like this and to be honest it would have been better for our club if Brett had decided to not play at all. The Tigers are a great club and very resilliant , this will not stop us from being very compettetive this year. I wonder how other clubs would go if they faced the same challenges as us in my opinion they probably wouldnt be here..

Watherston had to play for the Tigers.... totally agree biggles it is a sad day for the tigers when a 'son of a gun' leaves for carrot at another club (Oh hang on... MR dont pay players)... wouldnt you think he would be keen to help his struggling club that his family have put so much time into? All clubs have been poaching Boston players for years.
Cant agree with the thug call tho WCP, THERE ARE NO THUGS THERE.
Whats the thoughts on the noms btb/rossco, that McMahon horse is not quick according to Mick McMahon -no threat. SD big chance at running a place @ $3.00. What has happened to the Axe is he still alive? what happened to the Zerpremo ride,?
TRR - LSFC not slipping under the gaurd, no big name recruits (besides North). Will play the kids and develop them.

Wedding Gift worked well and the school of thought is that Danzilch is the best chance of JGWs runners in the class 4.
Meeting could be in doubt if insufficient number of acceptances - remember this happened 2 years ago, we haven't learnt anything since then...
