Perfect for Sturt, most SANFL clubs are looking for second ovals and this one is right in the middle of their country zone. Im guessing they have signed a long term lease on it and it will be lost to local footy for a while.

I don’t blame them. Howard lane is their home and has their soul. Joke how the council and government have dealt with it.

Silly season in full swing. Hearing Hahndorf may have a few very good ins, Riley Clamp from the crows, Dan Talia & Cheney back. They’ll have to bring a couple in at least with losing Dan Roberts and Purling.

They will use it for pre-season training which they have always done as Unley Oval is normally used for C and D grade cricket by Sturt

Some interesting commentary on Lofty's socials over the weekend around junior coaches, any idea what has happened?

Looks like Mt Barker are spending up the money they have saved from moving from the summit

None of the Barker recruits posted are genuine A graders. Depth and consistency improvements. Young Houlahan back in with a healthy shoulder will be their biggest inclusion and will be my tip to win the goal kicking now that Hourigan has left his throne.
