Kersbrook trained on their Home Oval this week for the first time in a couple of years. The Oval will be good to go for the Club's first home game in a months time against TV. Credit to Ian Duckworth and his crew of workers for getting the Oval back to normality.

Brookers first and only trial game against Hectorville this Saturday and like many clubs at this time of year will have a few missing.

Pretty sure that there will only be Callington in this boat.

A basic analysis of the figures without looking a the “who” would suggest that all will be better this year except Callington and Kangarilla, who will be worse and Maccy would stay about the same.

The one that surprises based on the chat on here is the recruiting that Meadows have done.

had a bit of time up my sleeve
obviously things will change dramatically in the up coming weeks.
Clubs that stand out with recruiting is GUMS 17 IN's but have 11 OUT's
Echungas 9 recruits from with in the league of which 8 are from central clubs
and on the other scale Kangas loss of numbers, 13 in all.

i heard that b randall is leaving because one of the new recruits had him pinned up against the wall by his throat after training. From what i see he is a pretty harmless bloke and have heard that some of these new recruits think their shit dont stink and i wonder how long they will stay at the club after they cop a few beltings from the better clubs.

He's leaving to play with his brother at Westminster OS. I believe they are both old scholars and always said they would end up playing there together at some stage. Mark played for Hope Valley last year and said to us from the beginning he would be leaving as soon as his brother was ready to play at Westminster with him

I hope no one reads into this stuff to much, Brett went to Birdwood hs, being pinned up against a wall is a fair exaggeration.

Echunga beat Bridgewater by a few on their postage stamp. Echunga’s running players did well with moving the ball quickly and tackling to stop Bridgewater’s players getting any flow.
