Indeed.
Didn't realise i was in the forties i would have put the melon down and chased the half ton.
Thought i was stuck in the late twenties.
Pleased i didn't get out to Tim Bevan again.
three times in a row he's got me.
Last time i took him for two fours from the first two balls then clean bowled.
Saturday i took two fours from his first two balls and blocked the over out.
Bowling wasn't so good, ten wides in one over, (2 five wide deliveries that even the keeper couldn't get near.)
I gave up after that.
Can't believe we lost, but that's how it goes.
Ben(?) Kayser bowled really well on return (i think he's been out??)
Good timing for them before the finals.
Mooted practice match this week against Barmera if Gerard don't front up.

Yeah Matt has definitely left Waikerie. Wasn't sure where he was going, but back to the Yorke Peninsula sounds about right.

There is definitely a rumour going around CM.
However, he was at the club's Meet the Coaches Day on Sunday and everything seemed alright.
Whether the rumour will eventuate into fact, I'm not sure....

Not football, but hows this.... On the weekend the Waikerie Golds played cricket against a young and inexperienced Cadell side, with Cadell batting first. They were bowled all out for 5. The Golds then batted, and batted, and batted, scoring around 350 runs off their 40 overs to win quite easily. Now to me that's just not cricket. Next year the Golds will be asking why Cadell can't field a side.....

Berri bowled out for a measly 116 against Waikerie at Berri.
Waikerie from 0 for 52 fell three runs short on 9 for 113 off their 45 overs.
Peter Safralidis, while rendered ineffective with the bat, triggered a collapse with two wickets including two run outs by Chris Scholefield.
the first of Saf's wickets was a caught bump ball he claimed.
What goes around, comes around Saf!!!
