r james wont play much and they dont have a home oval at this stage
the day nairne do anything will be when they stop being a social club and realise they are a football club
hey Tex you are in the know on alot of things you a club insider or just in the loop?

i think nairne will surprise a lot of people this year.. the attitude has changed at the club seaess. as long as we have some luck with injuries for once.

trouble is raz7 when nairne do get injuries they fall in a heap and whinge rather than battle through.
all clubs get a run of injuries sometime during the year look at TV last year struggled mid year all back for finals

good call. but i do recall nairne pumping TV on their home ground second too last round i think it was. nairnes new players only started too gel together the last 4 or five rounds which was disapointing. but they are all staying for this year along with a handful of new players.
I would tip nairne for a top three finish. Nairne beating TV at end of season may of been the kick in the @ss TV needed to fire them up for finals.

I overheard Echunga pres telling robbins that they were advertising all positions except a grade and that he would have to reapply
my understanding is Bawden wanted Wyatt in the job

he said he wasn't enjoying it.. fair bit of travel i suppose for a 16 year old with no license. Not sure wether he will go back down next year. I think he will surprise a few people this year at the rams. I think the man child better concentrate on helping us win a premiership in the cricket before he worries too much about footy haha :D

Whisper out of Lobethal, is that one of Torrens Valleys more controversial footballers responded to Lobey's SOS call for players in the Sunday Mail a few weeks back. Turns out that one of the TV Godfather favourite sons was looking to betray him and join another club to which his offer was declined. After all what the Godfather has done for him in recent times, imagine the ramifications if he found this out.

Correct me if I'm wrong but weren't Nairne Birdwood's whipping boys - what was it, 3 prelim's in a row??

And then Birdwood left and what did Nairne do??

agreed gimp... i sure dont remember nairne beating birdwood a lot... if ever! considering how badly country div is going, lets be honest here gum, cally both on the verge of folding, blackwood without a side anymore... looks like birdwood we're the smart ones and got into a decent div while they could!

I dont think Gum's are even looking at that, they have been very proactive during the off season has indicated in the courier a few backs. I also believe they are planning some other initatives to be released very soon.

spot on rooster about making the right move to div 1 the only mistake you guys made was not having a side good enough to match the move, the top 5 in div 2 would be more competitive up there

so the country division has two struggling clubs... fair enough.... but all i was getting at is the top 6 maybe seven teams are definately closing the gap between country and central divisions.
how have birdwood benefited at all from going up except thats they had the asses handed too them every week, and i cant see that changing much this year..

Has Shane Mitchell been kicked out of every club he has coached?

I remember a few years ago when he was coaching O'Sullivans Beach, he king hit a 16 or 17 year old playing in their first or second senior match. IIRC a massive fight broke out and the game was called off!!

Classy bloke, I hope Maccy know what they're in for.
