Heard that the karoonda team isnt finalised yet, and a special guest player could make the venture to magpie land!

I was told today by an extremely reliable source that a fair bit of money has been spent on the new guys at Karoonda, around 18 of them in all.

Old news mate and there willing to tell you, so no real surprise.

A handsome sum of money by all reports. Some city clubs would love to have that amount.

have heard that a two of karoondas new recruits are on their last chance with the club and coach.... rumour is blank clearances will be signed and given to them. any truth to this?

if karoonda sign the 2 gratz boys he would get them pretty cheap$$$$$$$.just like the rest off the recruits karoonda have already got. thats coming from a very reliable souce straight from the hores mouth as they all wont to aboard the smelt express.looking good out at the mallee magpies from what i hear

You have got to be joking Its been publically reported in the paper that they are spending upwards of $40-$50 grand on players, & that was a presidents quote, so:

lets say 15 paid players, 15 rounds, 40g's thats $177.77 each player each week.

And we all know some are worth more then others, so you do the sums!!!

Not saying its wrong, because they are keeping a Football club alive, but to say they are getting blokes for next to nothing, is just plain rediculous.

Ofcourse Creamy is down playing it, but the truth has been well reported already.

Pretty funny you mention that 1250, i heard something along the lines of that too..? Who knows if its true or not and i know things get thrown around as rumours and gossip but yeah, hard not to listen to this one!

Do these players know who they are 1250, or are they just going to get a rude shock?
Any idea what they have done to be on notice from the coaching staff? Knowing Smelty, he doesnt stuff around!

im not sure. oncewasaplaya has stated that everythings all peachy up there so id say it may come as a rude shock. like you said its speculation but i dont think something like that would be made up!

not sure what has happened (if anything) but sounds like theyve put a few of the locals offside.
