I agree with your Central div tips, except I think Lobie may knock off Onkas, from what I saw last week. Whoever loses that, even though its only 2 games in, would take a hit to their confidence.
In Country, yeah...I don't follow it much but I reckon the newcomers, Meadows, TV and maybe Echunga.

Ooh, toughy. I reckon there's been a few.
I can speak a bit for Lofty recently - Burch is back...Campbell Flower had a couple of years there...there's a bunch there now that look good...Sammy Wheatley a few years back...it's a bit hard, we had a few lean years!
I've played against some aover the last few years - Badenoch (Blackwood), Sziller (lobie), Murphy (Mt Barker), Smith at FF at Ironbank was hard to stop on his day, Amstberg (Onkas), Cooper (was at Hahndorf), Snowden (big man at Bridgey, handy in ruck, now coaching)...heaps more, but when you play in a certain half of the field or whatever, you don't see everything.

Will have a bit of a stab for you although there will be others who could probably come up with more, especially when it comes to the Central Division (Div 1)

Randall Pearce -Former Macclesfield junior who also played at Mypolonga and Echunga briefly after his short stint at South Adelaide
Dennis Raymond - Current Coach and still plays. Had a stint at Sturt in the mid '90's
Alf Stephens - Has spent time at Woodville-West Torrens
Michael Pfitzner - A local who is very underrated and is trying to comeback after knee recon.
Rick Hannam - Spent time at Sturt in the late '80's and early '90's

andrew francis(big ff kicked over 130 goals the year both divisions were one)

pete hodges(transformation from basketball to footy was amazing since he hadnt played footy since he was 10)
tony belham(played the game hard, a bit of an enforcer)

Had John Horsnell as a coach at Macclesfield in 2000 and 2001.
He played as well and despite the fact that he would have been just over 40 at the time he was still a very good tap ruckman and more than adequate around the ground. Must have been some sort of player in his prime.
Probably had the best ideas on fitness of any coach I had throughout my brief senior career. Will be some that disagree but he wasn't the problem at Maccy, he just didn't have the cattle and there was no money around at the time.
His brother Geoff was a top bloke and a very club orientated person who remains in several capacities at the club to this day.

Ahh yes i overlooked Darley, i can see why he'd be rated at the top.

I do remember Lihou representing the state in early 80's though when the SANFL was quite strong.

Think he won 6 of them and he was on the cover of a book that was made about 6 years ago about South Australian mail medallists
