Believe the behaviour of the boys on the bus on the way back from KI was not the best. Not happy Jan...I mean Owen.

With Bingos on board this doesn't surprise. He nearly got his cricket team thrown off the boat coming back from KI earlier this year

If this is true, would it have any thing to do with everyone would have played them once after this week?

If property was damaged and the bus driver HEAVILY abused (not just the usual s**t you give them) then yeah I have no problem with punishment of some sort but making them write an apology and threatening them with indefinete suspensions is a joke. That said, I dont know what went on, it mustve been ordinary for the driver in question to say something as he's an easy going bloke but surely the HFL need to address bigger issues than behaviour on a bus trip.

id say that this is one of the bigger issues the HFL feel they need to deal with. the whole concept of the association games is to show other comps the quality of your league and the players in it with the hope you might be able to recruit a few. all the players from u/15 through to the senior side are respresentatives of the HFL from when they step on that bus to when they get off it. therefore their behavior reflects on the league and their image so you can imagine why owen and co are not impressed. personally i couldnt give a s**t.

bet your bottom dollar that there will be sometyhing on it in the whats hot/whats not section in saturdays final siren

I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

I'm not up with everything that happened on the bus, just a little from what I have heard, But
I would have thought that all players from Sunday little bus trip will be playing this weekend weather they write a letter or not. From what I have heard it was an on the spot verbal warning, its like Owen showing up at a game and seeing something he didn't like and laying down the law and suspending players for the drunken behaviour after any game???? It all a bit strange, Understand they were representing the HFL but they are doing that every week just on a club level. If there was no meeting held regarding this issue and not final decision made at an offical HFL meeting/board meeting then all player will play no matter what.

So again Gumeracha players are singled out yet originally it was 6 to 8 players ???? If that is the case FB well it is unacceptable from those guys but I will repeat, some of you seem to have tunnel vision. ALL players concerned and not just those from my football club should be disappointed with what transpired and their behaviour.
