wow i go away for a few hours and the moderator starts getting bagged!! too late to edit it !!! i thought it might get back to the forum...at least she didnt take a picture that woulda scared a few people

we wont talk about what chloe was talking about with the hairdresser...or will we?

parker will fire no doubt, but whether he kicks 15 goals or gets holding the ball 4 times (this will happen) he is still gonna cop it from his good mates...all harmless...might even spur him on

we have no ins or outs from last weeks team, a few positional changes but that will change on the day, still no rob gill due to family illness which i wish him the best for. tumby would be clear favourites tommorow

Wally is very confident of suprising a few sides later this year.
If you didnt play against games you couln't win, Bostons would never play. Stupid comment grub.
United Yeelana v Lock should be a good game. GO UY!

Sounds like for the top few in PL, injuries and such towards the business end could be a major factor...
WCP - was it a shoulder that Brodie did last year...?

Can't remember exactly but he was a long way of being fully fit through last years finals series, barely trained.

Souths will be pushing for a spot at the top. With Eze, White & Crouch they have a top shelf midfield and with Bryant & North up forward they will be a threat. Again the trouble with Souths will be depth, lose any of the above and they struggle.

I gave Tasmans a wrap some weeks ago, think they will have a good spine and quality youth that are in their second year. Still very unkown though at this stage, Sunday is looming as very interesting.

I agree, Souths lose any of that top tier and they struggle for sure.
Who'll ruck for them?
I think 2 of the Tasman youngsters that looked good last year won't be there this year ie Smithy and Dodd.

biggles you go easy on us too today we dont need any injuries with no depth.
Hows Wally on the 5CC sportsshow getting into 'the fantastic judges on the internet'. Think you better go thru what we said Silver Fox and tell me anywhere where a 'fantastic judge' has tipped you too loose by 100 points.
Hans't this league got some 'fantastic coaches'.
Second worst team in the AFL TRRossco, obviously you didnt watch last nites game. The team that beat the worst team (by streets) by 8 points would be the second worst team. Once we get our game going we will be in the 8.

Did anyone go and watch 5th v 6th at Cetenary. 46 scoring shots to 1 in wet conditions.
It may not be the official end of Bostons but from what I saw today they are at the end.
Imagine what a good side will do to them in coming weeks in good conditions. It was a sad day for Port Lincoln footy.
Any results from GF footy?

I wouldn't be surprised if Steve Whillas has a very good season; he's been burning up the turf at trainings!! Apparently he's lost a lot of weight and got really fit! I also heard that he was running the ball out of defence, and even taking consecutive bounces through the guts playing at CHB in the over 35's Masters football carnival at Port Pirie played recently!

our_longreach wrote: btb I think whillas could end up with the blurred vision from North sitting on his head all day

I very much doubt that... I think you’re underestimating Steve Whillas.
I used to play against him back in his early days, and I tell you now, he was a very good footy player, dirty at times, but a very good footy player!! I also played with him for a season when I played for Yeelanna, I got in a fight with some bloke twice my size and I ended up socking him, which when I realised what I had done I quickly hid behind Willow because I knew he would have my back, and he did, thank god!

The only season Willow didn’t get reported, he won the mail medal!!
